This is a mod that replaces the older door sounds to the newer ones on the MAN New Lions City Update.

This replaces the original sound and animation files for SST doors, keep a backup of the original version if you want to revert, or simply reinstall the DLC.


The door types are changed with setvars in the repaint.cti files!


Here I bring you a mod that replaces the older door sounds with the newer versions on the SST doors as well as slower animations to the doors to match the sound.

  • Can you make the sounds also for IST ?

    • Maybe in the future, however the way I have modified this would mean that all door types (IST, AST and SST) would need to be modified because all animation curves for all door types are defined in one file, you would then need to have all doors types modified or no door types modified if you download that mod.

  • It is well known that one can argue about realism, but firstly, these are real images from Chemnitz itself and secondly, I find such unobjective criticism of the developer more than unjustified and shameful.

    • I'm sorry that it was received like that, my intentions are not to harm the developer or hate on anything he does. I absolutely love his work with the update and the realism it gives. I just wanted the door sounds I am familiar with. It seems like the door sounds included in the pack is realistic for older models. I have also spoken directly to the developer about this and he is aware that it is not the right sound for the newer models of the bus. I have updated the description for you, let me know if there is anything I should change.
