Der Zeichensatz von BROSE in OMSI umgesetzt

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe mich drangesetzt, den kompletten BROSE Zeichensatz für Omsi zu erstellen.

Dafür habe ich mir das Programm „gBuse0“ geschnappt, mit dem man eigentlich Datensätze für Matrizen von BUSE erstellt, habe mir den Zeichensatz reingeladen (vielen Dank an Neoplan VEST für die Bereitstellung der .fnt Datei) und Pixel für Pixel abgezeichnet und die oft-Dateien erstellt.


Nochmal als Hinweis:

Es handelt sich hierbei NUR um die Font, NICHT um eine komplette Anzeige!

    Ist da auch eine BROSE Matrix dabei?

    Oder gibt es eine Verlinkung zu einer, die Kompaktibel ist???

      nein, hier ist keine Matrix dabei und ich hätte jetzt auch keine zum Verlinken. Hier sind es nur die Fonts.

      Ich entwickle aber gerade ein Set, welches ich bald veröffentlichen möchte ;)

  • Would changing the font names in the vmatrix script to this font affect the resolution and general functions of the display? (Spacing, borders, etc.) Since MAN NL NG and other flipdot kruger displays use the 16px font, would it be possible if you could explain in short terms here what changes to the script would be necessary to use this mod and for it to work properly on any display?

    • Hello,

      yes, if you were to enter the F0 as a line font, the whole thing would of course no longer fit because it has 19 lines. However, F1 is also a line font, but it is intended for 16-line displays. You would then have to use it as a line font. All others, i.e. from F2 onwards, are at most 15 lines, so they fit in there normally.

      I can't say how the whole formatting is with spacing between the characters and so on, because I haven't put them in there myself, but there shouldn't really be any major problems.

    • Yes, I get that. However, I wanted to ask you if there are heavy scripting skills required to make a proper flipdot that has 19 lines? And for it to work with this mod.

    • In addition to the script, you also need to adapt the mesh and therefore the texture. In theory, it's really easy in the script if you know what is where. Then it's just a simple adjustment of a few numbers.

      However, I won't give you full instructions here. You have to be able to understand the script and the individual steps and that requires knowledge of the OMSI script syntax.

      But I currently have a display set in development which includes 19-line displays ;)

    funktionieren diese Fonts bei dem O530 Addon von Kajosoft ?

      die Fonts funktionieren prinzipiell überall, wenn man sie richtig einpflegt. Das ist dann aber bei jedem Skript etwas anders.

    • Was müsste da genau gemacht werden ?

    • Die Fonts müssen im Skript ausgetauscht werden

      Edit: Habe deine Fonts angeschaut, jetzt weiß ich nicht welche Größe in den O407 Skript rein muss?

  • Könntest Du vielleicht in der Beschreibung noch einen vorher-nachher-Vergleich hinzufügen?

    Ich weiß nämlich ehrlich gesagt nicht, wo hier jetzt der Unterschied liegt?

    • Von was denn ein Vorherbild? Es sind BROSE-Fonts. Ein Schriftzug im die Matrix zu erweitern. DA gibt es nicht Vorher.

    • Naja es gab im MOF schon mal ne Font dazu, aber die war nur 16-zeilig und generell an manchen Stellen nicht so toll umgesetzt. Und mWn hatte die auch nicht alle verschiedenen Größen.

      Ich verstehe gar nicht, wofür diese Modifikation überhaupt ist.

      Es geht hierbei ja nicht primär um eine Modifizierung von irgendwelchen Sachen, sondern es ist einfach eine standalone Font. Komplett von null gestartet.

    • Dass es hier um eine Schriftart zu gehen scheint, habe ich verstanden. Es verwendet aber doch nicht jedes Fahrzeug dieselbe Matrix. Außerdem muss es doch irgendwo einen Unterschied im Vergleich zu irgendeinem Original geben.


      Mein Problem ist, dass ich nicht weiß, worum es sich hierbei handelt. Soll BROSE ein Ersatz für LCD/LED/Flipdopt/etc. sein oder was ist das?
