A sizable repaintpack of Kraków's second-generation Solaris Urbino 12s containing 20 skins in different varieties and configurations.


Good morning,

Today I present one of my better packages that I worked on for a longer time (than usual).


The package depicts the twelve-meter-long Solaris Urbino 12 2nd generation, which in 2004-2005 populated Krakow's fleet with 50 vehicles (31 vehicles with Voith transmission and 19 with ZF transmission).


The repainpack contains 20 skins, in very different varieties. From the basic versions from the time of delivery, to different varieties and wraps (whether all-vehicle or differing in trinkets like a different set of stickers).


The full list is shown below:

  • BU801, BU802, BU803, BU804, BU805, BU820, BU831, BU840, BU850 - 9 models - showing the set on the day of delivery (2004-05)
  • BU805 - 1 model - with RMF MAXXX advertising (2012)
  • BU820 - 2 models - one in a newer version, with new stickers, and the other, which was left as an antique. This bus is still running at various events today (2024-today)
  • BU822 & MOCAK - 2 models - one of the repaints shows the version after 2005, while the other shows the veneer after the repurchase by MOCAK The Museum of Contemporary art in Krakow in 2018 [ the materials shown on the vehicle do not belong to me, but to the artists who made them ] (2009-2018 & 2019-)
  • BU830 - 2 models - the first repaint depicts the 1000th bus from the Solaris factory with a veneer in the form of the anniversary dachshund (the brand's mascot), the second repaint depicts a completely new scheme that began to enter Krakow in about 2011 (as people write it, ala C2) (2005-2011, 2011-2022)
  • BU834, BU840, DU850 - 4 models - the latest skins show newer versions of the buses, with new stickers including - one of the BU840 with an ad for EUROBANK (today Millenium Bank) and the DU850 which between 2016-2018 (along with the 849) was moved to the Wola Duchacka Depot (2009-18)


Of all 50 vehicles, only one BU820 survived, which was left as a historic vehicle. The rest were either scrapped or sold and repurchased by companies mainly from Silesia.




Before downloading the package, please edit the model.cfg files from the Polish modification, as they add variables that change the display color to orange.


The buses have custom registrations - before placing the model, press the spacebar so that the original Polish registration does not appear. Thanks ;)
