I am very excited to present to you Egged's electric articulated bus!
The electric articulated bus in Israel is manufactured by Golden Dragon, Pioneer. The bodywork factory assembles a five-door system. In this video, I show you a four-door system.
The bus is approximately 18 meters long and can carry 118 passengers, 41 of whom can be seated.
Batteries with a capacity of 522 kilowatts are located on the roof, and the motor produces 503 horsepower. The range between charges is 250 km, which is sufficient for a day's work in the city.
Entry into service: February 2021. PRESTOLITE electric motor with a power output of 350 hp (258 kW)/1400 rpm
Chinese vehicle chassis with Israeli bodywork.
Standard: zero air pollution.
This bus is mainly found in Jerusalem, and I present to you line 15 towards the National Insurance Institute - the opposite direction is towards Talpiot.
