Almost 2 months ago HVN-731 published (on YouTube) his incomplete Rába Contact 092 with the hope of some modder will finish it. Allow me to present you My version from his work :

After 2 months, here's the first public beta of the hungarian Rába Contact 092. It's an early preview of what it will be in the future after I rework the whole bus according to original blueprints. The bus itself looks good, but there are a few inaccurate parts, that is why I'll have to redo some of it. Since the rework is gonna take up a lot of time, I've decided that I want to publish this early version that is still functional and pleasant to look at and also to use, just for you to enjoy.

How to operate the bus and how to use the ticket machine manuals and descriptions are included within the file. Please read them first before using.

Features :
- Two different version : Coach and Regional
- Real engine and door sounds that was recorded from the real thing
- Snowy dirt in Winter
- Repaints of every Hungarian operator that had Rába Contact 092

- 3 different type of seats

- Able to give bank notes (500HUF and 1000HUF) in hungarian maps

- And more for you to experience

Known bugs :

- When opening the doors they slightly phase through the floor (due to inaccurate chassis length)

- Poor lighting quality in some places

- Retarder feedback lamp not indicating when it's in use

- Third interrior light not working

- No exhaust particles (unknown reason)

- Air pressure meter incorrect

Q\A :

- Will there be a city version (Rába Premier 091)? -Yes
- Will there be an automatic version? -Yes
- Will there be an articulated version? -Yes
- The terminus displays are not working what to do? -Make sure to turn on the Ticket Machine, otherwise neither the inside nor the outside displays will work
- The terminus is still not visible, even after I turned on the Ticket Machine. -Because you have to enter the line and route through the Vultron display or enter the terminus code trough either the Vultron or the KJR

- There's no line next to the terminus in the outside displays. -It's a design choice. Just like the small outside display. It was modelled after a real bus (HJL-105) that operated in Gyöngyös (later Balassagyarmat).

  • Very good for a beta release. I will say there is a noticeable bug you can't pres any of the hot keys for the bus to startup at all nothing major but just something to think about for the future. Otherwise great addition into the omsi fleet 🙂

    • Thank you! Yes, the next bus planned is the Premier. (As I have said in the Q\A section)

  • Excellent ! We had these in Belgium under the name Jonckheere Communo, as well as the city low floor version under the names Jonckheere Premier (for the one with the engine at the center) and Jonckheere SB250 (for the one with the engine at the back)

    • Thank you! Yes, Rába bought the license from Jonckheere. Also the first two buses were built in Belgium. :)

      Ich liebe es! 1
    • I saw you were also doing the Premier, really cool I'm looking forward for it, it's basically the only bus missing to have the complete fleet of buses we had in Brussels from the mid 1970's up until today on OMSI ^^
