- Transdev Portugal operates bus and coach services throughout the national territory and, previously, light metro. It was created in 1997 for the Porto Light Metro tender through the Normetro consortium. The light rail system was opened in 2002 and was operated by Transdev Portugal until 2010. Transdev Portugal also acquired Grupo CAIMA in 2002 and Grupo Joalto in 2010. The AveiroBus network was rewarded with 24 buses, 1 ferry and 2 boats, in force from 1 January 2017.
The Supershuttle shared van service operated in the country, but was sold to an affiliate of Blackstreet Capital Management in September 2019, after which it terminated the service in late 2019, citing that Uber and changes in the market led to its demise.
