1. Selecting the mode
For each mode, a shortcut to omsi.exe must be created. To do this, drag the application from Windows Explorer to the desktop and press CTRL+SHIFT before releasing it. Now a small field "Create shortcut in ..." is displayed next to the mouse pointer and the mouse button can be released.
Next, open the properties via the shortcut's context menu (left mouse button). There you will find the following field:

2. Start parameters
The table is by no means suitable for mobile viewing. If necessary change to the desktop view in your browser settings.
Mode | Function |
-editor | Opens the OMSI map editor |
-savelogs | Saves all log files with date and time. |
-nolog | Switches off the log function completely. |
-logall | Documents the course of the game in much more detail. Recommended if no error detection can be made from the "normal" log file.
This considerably extends the loading times in the game! |
-debug | OMSI is opened in debug mode. In this mode, for example, card developers can test their cards, e.g. make the AI people run faster. |
-windowed | OMSI is opened in windowed mode. |
-fullscreen | OMSI is opened in full screen mode (default). |
Attention: There must be a space between the previous content of the text field and the mode! Otherwise it will not work. Example:
Parameters can also be executed together. For this purpose, the parameters in the text field are simply strung together with a space:
