    About requests:


    Me and the rest of the team are much surprised about the amount of interest in our project thread. After all, even beyond the cynical remarks I've personally given on the interwebs to people asking dates or links, its still heartwarming to get such interest after all this time.


    We've been gathering source material since 2014 and some of us have researched new careers in 3D or driving licences to gain access. We've been molding a solid foundation for our dream of that part of our childhood on wheels immortalized on everyone's screens. But due to all this the amount of detail is much higher than any of us would manage on our own. Therefore the long wait since there is so much to learn before pushing forward into that dream.


    After all that I'll conclude that we're making what we're making because we can. Because nobody else would. That's why certain variants are made and others won't be. After all to us, buses are more so an experience rather than specific form or technical variants.


    Expect a long wait and the occasional update but after all, we are making something that hopefully one day can transverse the excitement from us making it to you experiencing it.

    im gonna support this project alot and i hope that it gets more attetion and that this mod gets completed :S

    At this time it is in our best interest to not disclose particular information about the map project since the state of it is in its infancy. However the venue will be fitting to the vehicles displayed in this thread.

    At this stage it is too early to bring up continuation plans for such a project. The moment we announce something it easily tends to shift into a binding announcement. Therefore we need to be almost ready with the content to make such a statement.


    Sorry about such a sweeping reply but rest assured, we want to deliver. We are committed and work is being done to make a new kind of experience virtually of our childhood transport.

    Its been a cold winter and snowy Finnish roadside has kept all of us busy. Still progress is being made in the background and work continues. I suppose some of you remember a certain bus sound that seemed impossible? Truly it has been. Probably the twelfth time this engine has been mixed to Omsi. Dare I say I'm close to getting it right?

    Yo Whats up :)

    First of, the modell and sound of the Volvos are pretty nice, good work there. But i am wondering if there will be a (12 speed ) i-Shift version planned for the Volvos. I know it will be tricky to code this, because of the way, how i-shift works diffrently as the more known transmissions like ZF or Voith for example.

    It is planned! at least in the future. The trickier parts are hill incline-dependent gear selection when departing from standstill, and clutch management. The former I'll likely adapt from the TopoDyn part of my ZF script. Rest of it should be easier to script.

    It could also be made into Scania Opticruise, which is similar in it's operation.

    like honestly i'm really glad this is a thing beacause everywhere you look you can't find anyone making these type of buses and i'm very thankfull that someone has set out to do it. 8)

    If someone wants to gather up some reference, that'd be nice of course, however we can't promise that such version will be created as we always stick to our plans first and after those are done, we'll possibly have a look at other things to do.
