Can someone maybe help me with making texture in blender

    Me and a Friend made an object for omsi but now i don't know how to ad the textures so that the file ecomes visible in the editor i already looked ad youtube but i still dont know how to do it i hope that somebody could help me with it!

    hello, wich version of blender are you using?

    if 2.79 or below:

    select your object, then click on the material tab, click +, give it a name, then go to texture tab, clich on +, then go to image section and click on he folder icon, select your image.

    Now your object has a texture and OMSI will display it.


    now you need to map the image:

    select your object, press tab, select all with A, press u, select smart uv project.

    Go to blender uv editing view, and edit to your preference.
