Didn't knew that since we have C2G's here that have been delivered in August and September 2016 that still have the old style dashboard. That also goes for our Citaro LE’s that have been delivered in October and November 2016. But thank you for the information.

Than it's just weird they have provided the new steering wheel. Then they should have provided the older style dashboard. Other than that they have provided us with an amazing pack.
EDIT: This would have been the better dashboard choise.

I just had a first run with the Mercedes-Benz Citaro LE and Citaro G since I drive with both types in real life myself. I must admit that I was very sceptical because there is an excellent freeware equivalent by Mx. However these models do actually look very nice and the sounds are spot on. In my opinion the sounds from the OM 470 engine (the one from the Citaro G) are better than the sounds from Mx.
Even though there are quite the possibilities to adjust the models there are some missed opportunities.
One of those things is they only provide one dashboard type and that is the one with the new Mercedes-Benz steering wheel.
Then there is the passenger roof that is the old style with the lights to the sides. I don’t think it’s the right pick to have the new dashboard combined with the old style roof. It would have been better to see both dashboard and roof types being provided especially for a payware model that has been in production for such a long time and has to compete with a freeware version.
Then the other huge missed opportunity is to provide a Citaro G with the smaller OM 936 engine since that model is the backbone in lots of cities.
However these and some other misses in the pack the overall model quality is very good as well as the sounds and they have delivered a truly amazing pack.

Hello again,
I have written before how the SETRA could use more lighting variants in the passenger compartiment. I don't know if you are planning on adding more variants and if it is possible to do so in OMSI. However I have taken the time to capture all variants we have on our SETRA S 419 ÜL's to give you an idea:
These are the lighting buttons we have on our dashboard. I have numbered all the buttons to explain what kind of lighting each one gives.
- Number 1 and 2 are the regular aisle lights.
- Number 3 is the green aisle light.
- Number 4 and 5 are the reading lights on the service sets. Whereby passengers can individually switch them on and off when number 4 is pressend and all are illuminated when pressing number 5.
- Number 6 and 7 are the lights mounted in and near the luggage racks.
This is the lighting you get when pressing button number 1.
This is the lighting you get when pressing button number 2.
This is the lighting you get when pressing button number 3.
This is the lighting on the service sets. Pressing button number 4 ables passengers to switch them on and off individually.
This is all reading lights illuminated by pressing button number 5.
This is the lighting you get when pressing button number 6. It only illuminates the lighting between de service sets.
This is the lighting you get when you press button number 7. It illuminates the lighting inside the luggage racks and also the lighting between the service sets. However the lighting between the service sets in this configuration is brighter than with button number 6.
I hope if you are planning on enhancing the lighting in the passenger compartiment this will come to help. If you need any more information about the SETRA for future update feel free to contact me. Have a nice day, take care!

Good evening,
I have had the add-on being installed for a couple of days already but today was the first I had a glimpse of it. I must say I’m impressed by the quality of the models. And as a very frequent S 419 ÜL driver I must say the looks of it are really relatable to the real vehicles.
Though I have found a lot of things you really should work on:
- The sounds. You portrait your buses as Euro 6 equipped with the OM 936 engine however the sounds implanted are from the OM 457 hLA. This is already mentioned as I recall.
- The rear hatch on the regular models don’t have the grill in it. Only the business models do though the grill is typical on the Euro 6 models. Without it you portrait your buses as Euro 5. This is also something already mentioned.
There are also some things I think would be a great addition to the pack:
- The grill layout in the rear hatch. Your business models have the left (optical) and right (functional) grill however there are also variants with only the right (functional) grill instead. It might be an idea to extend these both variants and a CTI variable.
- The openable passenger windows (don’t know the exact English word for it) are one variant only and not replaceable by a window without them. It feels quite weird to have openable passenger windows on an airconditioned vehicle. It might be an idea to have the both openable windows and normal windows as a CTI variable.
- The destination boards. As I see it now there is only the one at the front. It would be nice to have an option for at least a destination board at the side and rear as well. This would be a great addition as a CTI variable.
- The interior light options are very spartan. In the Setra’s I drive with we have the option to put night time lights (as I like to call them) on, these are green coloured. And as I may say a real need for luxury intercity busses like these. We have some more options as well but that may be too much. I’m willing to send/post some pictures of all the lighting options we have if interested.
- The doors are fixed with half glazed on the normal models and full glazed on the business models. It would be great to be able to add full glazed rear doors on the normal models and half glazed rear doors on the business models. This would be a great as a CTI variable.
- The luggage racks inside the bus have this plastic mesh look. It would also be lovely to see the mesh being all closed off. Also something to be able to do via CTI variable.
- The steering wheel. You have the older style steering wheel in the normal models and the modern style steering wheel in the business models. It would be nice to be able to select a steering wheel via CTI variable.
As for all the great addition to the current pack there are some things that would be very lovely to have new to the pack:
- The Setra S 419 ÜL
- The OM 470 engine in at least in the S 417 ÜL and also in the S 419 ÜL if you plan on doing that one.
At last I also found some faults when I was working on a repaint:
- I selected the glass emergency exit hatch on the S 417 ÜL. It shows up in OMSI however in the interior the covers are still there.
- I repainted parts of the windows and used the glass interior and exterior. Everything shows up correctly except the paintjob on the rear door seen through the window from the other side. When I’m in the passenger view it does show op.
For now thank you for this amazing pack full of amazing buses and hopefully you’ll be able to fix some faults/issues and make this pack even greater. Take care!

Morphi,
