  • Is there a update coming for this mod? This was so far 1 of the best mods for the Mercedes logos for this bus.

    • I am quite busy at the moment, that´s why the update will be delayed. But I am working on it.

  • Wäre es auch möglich, das kleine Mercedes-Benz Logo über dem großen Stern abzubilden, obwohl man "grill flat" ausgewählt hat?

  • The mod is still working with 1.03 version of the addon. You simply need to do the installation process again.


    However, with 1.03 the texture files segla.tga and tex3.png were changed to DDS. Therefore, at least until WhiteSilver updates the mod, you will need to convert those two files from the mod to .DDS in order to avoid missing textures. (or replace the .dds with .tga/.png in the model.cfg file, but you would need to do it with every single variation of the Citaro, it is much easier to change the texture files to dds)

    • Hello! Could you privately send me the files converted to DDS? I don't know what application to use to convert them, nor what type of DDS files it is.

    • I used paint.net, simply opened these two files from WhiteSilver's mod and saved them again as .dds. As for the file type, i didnt change anything, just used the default settings it showed me when saving.

    • Aber das Heck wird trotz Eintrag im Repaint nicht angezeigt.

    • You probably didnt follow the steps in the readme correctly, or used a wrong rear logo (the .o3d file for the rear logo is different depending on which version of the bus you are modifying - ie regular, L, G, MU etc).

  • Hallo kann mir da mal jemand helfen beim installieren? ich komme da hinten und vorn nicht draus was da gemeint ist in der Readme. Ist schon etwas kompliziert erklärt:) Ich habe da leider keine Ahnung von, habe dies noch nie gemacht.... aber sonst Top Mod!!!😊 Bei den Gelenkbussen geht der Mod auch bei den Solobussen aussert bei den L/LU/MU/U Varianten ist am Heck die Schrift und Stern im Fahgastraum... stand aber so in der Readme das man das auch so eintragen muss.... Sorry wenn ich da etwas verwirrt bin.... Liebe Grüsse Florian

  • Bei funktioniert alles, außer das wenn die Front mit Stern ausgewählt ist, dass der Grill dann unsichtbar ist. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung?

    • Dann hast du sehr wahrscheinlich bei der Installation einen Fehler gemacht. Am besten nochmal alle Schritte in der Anleitung durchgehen und überprüfen.

    • Fehler habe ich gefunden, danke für die Antwort. Funktioniert jetzt alles!

  • Im KI Betrieb sehe ich den vorderen Stern zumindest beim G nicht. Erst wenn ich den Bus übernehme und mit dem Tablet die setvars resette. Gute Frage woran das nun wieder liegt, ich denke eingebaut ist das richtig wenn der Stern beim eigenen Bus korrekt angezeigt wird.

    EDIT: Lag daran dass die betroffenen Busse mit der main.osc fuhren weil ich die main_ai.osc rausgeworfen hatte damit die Trailer auch ein Kennzeichen haben. Offensichtlich fliegen dann alle Setvars bzw werden auf 0 gesetzt.

  • Ich wollte mir die Mod holen, aber der Einbau ist ja ultra lästig. Die Arbeit tu ich mir nicht an, nur um Logos zu haben... Ich weiß aber deine Arbeit zu schätzen!

  • Vielen Dank für den Mod. Kann es jedoch sein, dass der Citaro Schriftzug hinten falsch ist? Ich bin der Meinung der ist in der Realität Kursiv war.

    • Ja das stimmt, wird mit einem Update in Kürze behoben.

  • Looks quite nice, and definitely very convenient to have the rear logo in a setvar. Will try it tomorrow :)


    The only question i have, is the CITARO font at the rear accurate? All photos i have seen of that model have those letters in similar style to the front grill logo.
