Pack of Neoplans N40XX from 1988-1994.

After two years of work, I can finally publish Neoplan N40XX Pack!


Pack include Neoplans from years 1988-1994, with old cheese-grater front including it's legendary W123 headlights:

    Version 1.2 of Neoplan N40XX Pack. Changelog:
    - Fixed heating in every bus

    - Decreased amount of validators

    - Minor bugfixes (positionlight on door in Bremen N4021, interior windows in N4021 from 1990 and 1992)
    - Rebalanced accelerating of busses

  • Gibt es eine Möglichkeit oder einen Mod der es erlaubt einen Drucker und ne Kasse einzubauen ?

  • Well, purely visually and in terms of driving behavior, I think the buses are very well implemented.


    However, I find the sounds less accurate, especially in the versions with MAN engines and Voith transmissions - when starting and braking, they sound too much like MAN NL 202 and MAN NG 272. I realize that most models in the N40xx series (especially those from 1990 onwards) had MAN engines installed, but they did not sound like NL202/NG272. The real sound would have sounded more like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euHN7Yx2-c4


    However, the sound of the "N4016 NF 1991 Haag ZF", which (just like the variants before 1990) has an air-cooled Deutz V8 engine, is relatively good. It reminds me a lot of the Vestische Neoplan N 416 and N 4015.

    • Voith transmissions are taken from NL202, because I'm not able to get axle sounds. I just lame at audio editing, so best thing was to leave NL202 sounds.

  • Wäre es Euch möglich auch für die anderen Neoplanbusse Ausschwenktüren einzubauen?

  • Is there any Method do change the matrix?
    If I delete the original matrix from the scripts the bus will not load any more....

  • Diesen Bus kenne ich auch noch aus meiner Kinder und Jugendzeit...

    Kann mir jemand verraten wie ich die Tür drei über Tastertur ansteuern kann? Das einzige Manko was ich an diesem Bus habe ist die Türsteuerung und das man im Nachläufer keinen Haltewunsch aktivieren kann...

    Aber sonst ein echt super Wagen. Gehen die Aussenschwenktüren nur bei dem N4021NF Baujahr 88?

  • Da ich selber Kölner bin und ich diese Neoplans in meinen Kindheitstagen live erlebt hab, muss ich wirklich sagen dass du was abnormal geiles aus dem Hut gezaubert hast und ich suchte den Gelenker übelst, weiter so!

  • Can you also publish the buses as versions with printer and cash register? In a later update.

  • Can I use the Bus also for AI Traffic?

    • The bus does not have a dedicated version for AI movement, so you can set the version for the player, but the game performance may decrease

    • But the bus will work as an AI Vehicle within the AI-List?

    • I don't know, I haven't tested it personally. Check and let me know :D

    • The N4014/N4016 2 Doors is working as an AI Bus but the N4021 Version has problems with the third door (it doesn't open at bus stops), so it`s acutally not working well as an AI Bus. I hope it can be fixed <3 Is such a wonderful bus!

  • Is there a preview video available?

  • Does the Bus have manual transmission or automatic ?

  • How can I activate the announcements?

    • What announcements?

    • There are no announcements in this bus, sorry.

    • In my buses are announcements because I have changed the IBIS Scripts ;)

    • Was muss man im Script ändern damit Ansagen abgespielt werden? Oder hast du einfach ein anderes Ibisscript genommen?

  • Beautiful!

    We need more retro nostalgic busses like these. Sound could be better, but all in all a solid 5/5!
    I would also enjoy it, if it would be more modifiable like for ticket printer and IBIS. But as is, a good base!

  • I was developing Marcin 4590's first Neoplan vehicle with permission, but something better came out

    I am currently in the process of remastering and developing the Neoplan N40xx series. While it's good that I can now stop the development process from 1984 to 1993, if I can develop models from 1995 onwards later, it might not be bad to also develop my current projects - the N4015, N4020TD, N4114DES, and N4032 together.


    Advantage:
    You can experience classic vehicles

    And it has such high quality that it feels like driving an actual vehicle.


    Disadvantage:

    Though I know it has a D2866LOH engine, it's slightly disappointing that there's no D2866 engine sound currently.

    During that era, there was a double-decker bus called the N424. There was also a bus called N426.


    While we can't experience these vehicles now, I think they might become available in the future.

    It's truly an excellent model, and it has been very helpful as a reference while I'm remastering.

  • Perfect!

    Often when there is a new bus on the webdisk nowadays, i don't even take a look at it but the Neoplan N40xx Pack, is something else the detailing the modeling the scripts, is perfect for people who love old buses, i must admit for me it was pretty modding friendly.


    Pros:

    Detailed Moddeling

    ZF and Voith Transmissions are greatly scripted

    Sounds are very high quality

    many setvars and dedicated versions

    Realistic modeled dashboard

    physics are very nice, with amazing suspension


    contra:

    haven't found any yet ;)



    Overall i would rate this 10 stars :D but unfortuantly the webdisk does not allow it so i rate it 5 Stars, for users who love old Neoplan Buses this is the right pack, hope to see more buses from your project!
