This modification adds timetable changes as a chrono events for all the drivable lines and numerous other lines. Timetables change on 1.1.2020, 9.11.2020 and 12.12.2021.

Description

The aim is to provide current timetables of year 2020 to the game. Exceptions in traffic caused by COVID-19 are not included in this mod. I have used a certain week (7.9.-13.9.2020) in autumn as a main source for the timetables, since there is yet no COVID exceptions decided on that week. I have used fahrinfo.bvg.de to acquire the timetables because BVG has disabled timetables in PDF format.


Name changes of bus stops and missing stops are put into the game by this mod.


Please note that some trips are not nearly optimal and on many cases not real at all. This mod only pays attention to departures and driving times to provide realistic service, not so much on transfers and so on. Transfers etc. are mostly designed in such manner that makes the gaming experience better or at least tolerable.

  • Several renames are applied on 12.12.2021 for stops.

  • hello, I have the following problem, since your update you can no longer select lines in BBS, with the normal lines that are included at x 10, he says they are not installed. Somewhere they made a mistake with their update, please fix it as soon as possible because he also does not accept your mod in the BBS

    • I cannot help you with the BBS as I don't have it nor use it. The BBS version was created by the community around it and I simply passed it along here so that it is easier to find. Try the official forum of BBS for some debugging help. :)

  • I have a problem with using the c2g 2012 on the x10 route for ai vehicle, I can’t get them to run on x10 route.

    • Only on X10 or any route on X10 Berlin DLC?

    • Thanks for responding, and yes only on the x10 route. It runs on other routes .

      I assign the c2g 2012 to the x10 route through the editor but when I load the game to play it doesn’t show the c2g only the DL05

    • X10 uses BVG S, BVG D and BVG G groups from ailists.cfg (unless you modified this). If you use other buses on those groups it could be you simply had bad luck seeing those, but I'd check out first that the ailists.cfg is correct, and that your log file don't report any issues on it or the line X10.

    • Hey, thanks! :)


      If you have BRT Berlin (DLC), you can copy-paste from that directory some of the missing announcements to X10 Berlin. You may need to rename them, e.g. add Tel_ prefix or something like that. Logfile tells you exactly what the name should be where it says that the announcement was not found. Some stops that were renamed do not have matching announcements. You can always use the old ones by copy-pasting the announcement files and renaming them.


      On that DL issue, I am aware of that and should have mentioned it better in the description, but there was ton of changes made and I dropped the updated hof file for DL05 in the latest update. This was mainly decided on the fact that the changes on 12.12.2021 require separate routes and the automatic recognition on DL05 cannot handle this, it hardly could handle the original changes. I'll update that hof file at some point and include it, but for now I can only say sorry for inconvenience.

    • Hey mate, I had self-updated the DL HOF file to adapt to the changes that were present on the date after and including the 12th of December 2021, and added in the new routes that were inclusive to be added. If you would want to take a loo, I'd be happy to share the HOF with you if you do not mind, and if it is okay with you. :)

  • Hello, I have a small problem and it concerns the X10 line. Not all journeys can be displayed in the BBS, for whatever reason, I had already contacted the PeDePe support. I was recommended to write to the developer because it must be an error in the line pack. Could you please try to solve the problem that the complete journeys are displayed in the BBS? It is only the X10 line.



    Here is the problem that I described to PeDePe support



    1.) Standard X10 cycles (which are included with the addon) 2.) X10 (Real) laps, where you can always only drive from Hertzalle to Andreezeile and all of that vice versa. 3.) X10 (12 - 12 - 2021) laps, where you can only drive from Hertzalle to Rammrath Bridge and that, the whole thing vice versa. The problem with point 2.) is that not a single trip to Rammrath Bridge is displayed, but only trips to Andreezeile and hold back, as described. The problem with point 3.) Only trips to Rammrath Bridge and back are displayed and never to Andreezeile. Unfortunately, you cannot have both installed at the same time, otherwise the ingame will be run twice, e.g. B. Me and an AI. That's extremely annoying. Is it possible that these ---> X10 (12 - 12 -2021) rounds are also displayed to Andreezeile and back again and not only from Rammrath Bridge to Hertzalle and vice versa. (From Hertzalle to S Teltow Stadt and back again) I checked ingame without BBS and under X10 (12 - 12- 2021) there are trips to and from Andreezeile.

    What I'm noticing IS that the "ü" from Rammrath Bridge is not being passed correctly by the creator of the line pack.

    • Hi, since I don't own BBS, I have difficulties to debug this issue. Does your log file show any errors?


      However, according to my earlier experiences with these line packages and BBS I can conclude that BBS may need some kind of tricks to get the chrono events to work correctly, especially when there is new station links and/or stops added to the map. Without the mod it is hard to say how BBS behaves when a chrono event adds new stops, links and disables original lines.

    • Could you perhaps fix the problem that, for example, in bridge the ´´ü´´ is removed and replaced by ´´ue´´ just like the others with ´´ä´´ This is replaced in BBS with a ´´?´´ displayed and therefore seems to cause problems. Please

    • Well, that cannot be the issue (or otherwise it is a bug in the BBS codebase), because in the original lines, those characters are not replaces and written as they should be. E.g. on line X10, those departures in my mod uses the original terminus because there was no need to add duplicates.

    • So the developers say it comes from Linienpack in the version where only Real is behind (X10 (Real) it is displayed with 'ue' but in the version with 12 - 12 -2021 it is displayed with 'ü'' X10 (12 - 12 -2021) but he does not recognize the ´´ü´´ and puts it it as ´´?´´ there. I just don't understand the problem where it comes from there... :,(





      And in the folder 2020 timetable change Real there are 11 files for line X10 (TTL & TTP) but in folder 20211212 timetable change there are only 4...

  • Hello, Unfortunately there is a problem at the Zoo, line X10 stops at line 100 etc and that is not correct, the X10 stops at a position in front where line 109 stops. I can help you if you like or tell you the right positions

      At the bottom of the page it says:

      "S+U Zoologischer Garten: Hier werden die Linien X10, 110, N7X und N10 neu an Position 4 abfahren. Die Linie N9 fährt künftig an der Position 5 ab."

      I assumed they did not change position numbers. 😄

      BVG doesn't exactly offer any maps on where the platforms are nor does the navigator show the exact location of the stops.

      Which would be the correct ones?

    • I haven't planned that, yet. But since the line 104 is no longer in service, I might add this change to the mod. However, the update will come out in January the earliest, right now my schedule is somewhat busy. :)

  • Hello. Will this pack also be available for BRT-Berlin in the future? If you did it, it would be cool if you also inserted the real line of the lines X10 and 101 again.

    • We'll see, it most likely requires total rework if I made this to BRT as well.

    • Nothing planned or anything yet. We'll see how this progresses during the winter months.

    • Hi, I might add those in future. I was not aware of those departures, the BVG website did not offer good overviews at the time I created this mod. :)

  • Is this mod compatible with Berlin BRT?

    • Unfortunately, no. It would need some rework to make it compatible, mainly on the track files. But I'll keep this in mind for future work!

    • Hi, it is possible that you have a wrong hof file selected. If you open the "set terminus" option and scroll all the way down the terminus list, the last ones should include Eichenstr. and U Platz der Luftbrücke. If not, you have a wrong hof file selected for sure. If those are there, check from the separate file IBIS codes that you tried to enter the correct code.


      The easiest way to get this to work is to rename the correct hof file as "X10 Berlin", copy it to wanted bus folder and let it overwrite the existing hof file. That way there is only gonna be one file and no confusion.

      I copy the hof. folder from your download , an paste this folder in all my bus folder .

      Did you copy a correct hof file? There is four types:

      • X10 Berlin -> normal hof file, works on most of the buses
      • X10 Berlin (Krueger) -> like the normal but works only with those matrices that can autofit the text, e.g. on Scania Citywide.
      • X10 Berlin (AFR4) -> for MAN DL05-09
      • X10 Berlin (Prefix + Suffix + Krueger) -> This is a copy of X10 Berlin (Krueger), but also includes the entries with prefix, e.g. M29 is 829 etc. But as it turned out the new C2 cannot recognize prefixes automatically, so this one is pretty much useless.
