Hello and welcome to city of Porto and the Grande Porto region !
With this map you will be able to drive through the city of Porto and its surroundings, in the 6 municipalities of the region, including a village in Spain, in 47 lines of 13 different companies (+4 internal STCP lines for personnel transport).
You will have a great variety of landscapes, from the old city of Porto, up to more rural places, with groves and wheat fields. Many places like Ermesinde, Guifões and Águas Santas were recreated close to reality, always with a bit of imagination. Other places like Prado, Redondelo and Lavouras were totally invented.
Included are portuguese speaking passengers and the STCP and TUP lines count with bus stop announcements.
Some basic informations:
- More than 100 kms of roads to drive
- 47 lines from 13 companies, with 120+ routes in total, including 2 tram and 4 personnel transport lines
- Hundreds of AI lines, all based on real timetables
- Portuguese speaking passengers, with modified textures
- Chrono Events depicting the changes of the STCP fleet

Terão uma grande variedade de paisagens, desde a baixa da cidade do Porto, ás zonas mais rurais, com arvoredo e campos de trigo. Bruno accurately created my home city Porto and the surrounding cities in OMSI 2. I've been playing this map since it released almost one year ago now. Honestly, it's a 5 stars map with a lot of realism and a lot of smart creativity. Some areas were improved, differing from real life, and the changes make total sense. New lines that don't exist in real life are also a thing in this map, and they are well done. The time tables make sense and, on many lines, you don't become late when driving normally because it was well made! Excellent attention to detail. You can drive on this map for countless hours without getting bored. It is also well optimized.
I have some suggestions/questions:
1 - in the future version can you please convert all the foreign traffic lights (German I believe) to the Portuguese ones? They don't turn yellow before turning green and I think red lasts less time.
2 - is Valongo going to get revamped? The municipality made a lot of changes to the roads in 2022. Also, the roads which go from Suzão train station to Alfena are a bit different from IRL.

This is by far my favourite map that's abroad from the UK, it did get really finnicky trying to work out how to download all the recommended buses and its repaints (especially when there is no file structure or readme's on how to install) but I got it working and I am amazed with something as extensive as this is handle mostly with good FPS all-throughout. Some weird traffic pathings (cars going through motorway poles for example and buses piling up at Casa Da Musica terminal) but for the most part an enjoyable experience if your PC can handle it.

Hello, I have a problem with the Ai-List and it is that I cannot add more cars to the AI besides the default ones (I don't like them), I wanted to add cars from other DLC but it doesn't work. And it's a bit strange because in other maps of this style like Ahlheim, Belgrade, Mainz and even the same official DLCs, I can change which AI cars run and which ones don't. Is there something I'm not doing right? Or is it a problem that I can't solve? Thank you and I hope your answer ;).

Olá, estou com um problema com o Ai-List e é que não consigo adicionar mais carros ao AI além dos padrão (não gosto deles), queria adicionar carros de outras DLC mas não deu t funciona E é um pouco estranho porque em outros mapas desse estilo como Ahlheim, Belgrado, Mainz e até mesmo os mesmos DLCs oficiais, posso mudar quais carros AI funcionam e quais não. Há algo que não estou fazendo certo? Ou é um problema que não consigo resolver? Obrigado e espero sua resposta

Hello! Because there are Chrono events (chrono folder inside the map Grande Porto 2021 folder), you need to change the ai lists there are in there too.

I got some problems with the map, I downloaded and extracted all the files that requires for the map to work from the ReadMe list, rechecked every file at least 4 times for the location in the game folder but still the map doesn't work properly. OMSI Tools showing that some files are missiing, but I found those files in the game folder where they should be. For example, I attached some screenshots from the game and OMSI Tools. I would be very grateful if someone could help me, this map looks very beautiful and it's stucked in my brain and I cant stop thinking about to play on this map.

Great map, been playing it ever since, tried to add buses to ailist but it runs better with the default MAN buses I find.
Only issue is the performance, something in the ailist isn’t working and i’m not sure what you’re unscheduled traffic patterns are but something is failing to load.
It’s a great map, but please pass onto OMSIVIMECA that his buses as AI have an incorrect variable (Liniennummerstring)

For some reason all the AI Buses say "Servis Disi" for all the routes which I believe means 'Out of Service' or something like that, I installed the special character .HOF file to the MAN folder but I'm not sure how to fix this, many thanks in advanced.

Hello! I would say the hof file is missing for those buses. Please copy the hof file of the map (GrandePorto2021.hof), into the following Vehicles folders:

Hola, quisiera preguntar cuales son los requisitos que necesita para correr el mapa....
Tengo una Pc Ryzen 5 5600g con 16GB de RAM, una SSD de 480gb y una HDD de 1TB. Mi deseo es saber si el mapa correria bien ya que al ser muy pesado no quiero que la descarga sea innecesaria ya que toma su tiempo, el mapa me llama realmente la atencion y por los comentarios veo que entretiene y demasiado. Excelente trabajo y desde ya muchas gracias, saludos desde Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷

Tu PC es suficientemente fuerte, pero tienes que saber que OMSI no es un juego buen optimizado. Tienes que jugar con las opciones de los graficos, el tráfico AI y otras.

hi, i have some issues with textures. Some roads and other splines have the missing white textures and the wheels of NL202 buses have similar issues. The custom vans, taxis and mercedes are also broken and appear invisible.
I have downloaded the hotfix, however it seemingly didn't fix the issue.

Yes, it can be a problem, in case you have a hof with the name GrandePorto2021, together with other hof with names that are similar. For example, a hof from version 2020 or only Grande Porto.
BCS chooses the wrong one and then it doesn't work.

Hello! So BC and VN are the 2 depots of the STCP company. BC stays for Bessa-Carcereira and VN for Via Norte.
The Empresarial is line 36 which is shared between the Maia Transportes and ANC companies and appears in Maia.

For example, "AEG oldtimer" is missing. In the folder the model and script folder and other files are missing.

Those entrypoints are called "Custóias [126]" for Chavinha and "Hosp. S. Tomé [39]" for S. Tomé.
About the AEG oldtimer, please copy those folders (model and script) from vehicles\AEG oldtimer205 to vehicles\AEG oldtimer.

So that will take a bit of time, since creating the roadmap itself was a pain and had to do it bit by bit and paste it all together.
But I have a solution for you: how are the files named for BCS? In the main roadmap, in BMP format, you have in the upper right corner a square showing how big the tile is. I could indeed just cut every single one and send it to you.

Oh, I thought you have lucky so you genereated full map from the game. I tried it, but it wasn't working. BBS use standard generated files from OMSI Editor, 1 file = 1 tile (tile_X_Y.map.roadmap.bmp).
