Bonjour tout le monde,
Un an après avoir sorti la V2 de la map, il était temps de vous présenter sa nouvelle version : la V3.
Si vous ne connaissez pas les 2 premières versions : Avélia, est une map Belge située en province de Hainaut en Wallonie (partie francophone de la Belgique) , ou deux entreprises : TEC et VOLBUS se partagent les lignes. a travers les 3 dépôts jouables.
La V3, a 25 lignes jouables (autoroute, urbain, interurbain, scolaire, nuit, ....) allant de 7 a 60 minutes !.
De nombreuses nouveautés sont au programme : nouvelle gare d'autobus a Avélia, nouvelles lignes, nouvelles zones !!, correction de nombreux petits défauts de finitions, etc ....
La sortie de la V3 est prévue début 2023, d'ici 1 a 3 semaines (maximum)

One year after the release of the V2 map, it was time to present you its new version: the V3.
If you don't know the first 2 versions : Avélia, is a Belgian map located in the province of Hainaut in Wallonia (French speaking part of Belgium), where two companies : TEC and VOLBUS share the lines. through the 3 playable depots.
The V3, will have about 25 playable lines (highway, urban, interurban, school, night, ....) going from 7 to 60 minutes!
Many new features are on the program: new bus station in Avélia, new lines, new zones, correction of many small finishing defects, etc ....
The release of the V3 is planned for the beginning of 2023, certainly in this month of January, because it is almost finished !

Wenn Sie die ersten beiden Versionen nicht kennen: Avélia ist eine belgische Map in der Provinz Hennegau in Wallonien (französischsprachiger Teil Belgiens), wo sich zwei Unternehmen, TEC und VOLBUS, die Linien über die drei spielbaren Depots teilen.
V3, wird ungefähr 25 spielbare Linien haben (Autobahn, Stadt, Überland, Schule, Nacht, ....), die von 7 bis 60 Minuten reichen!
Es gibt viele Neuerungen: neuer Busbahnhof in Avélia, neue Linien, neue Zonen!!!, Behebung vieler kleiner Schönheitsfehler, etc. ....
Die Veröffentlichung von V3 ist für Anfang 2023 geplant, innerhalb von 1 bis 3 Wochen (maximal).

What an absolute mess this is (from a file and objects perspective). I spent hours gathering the required assets, only to run this map through "Map Tools" and find there are many requires objects that are not mentioned in the read me. He has included objects like a Terrain Spline 100m, when the Terrain Splines package only has terrain splines up 20m! I searched for hours online and could find no 100m terrain splines. Heaven knows where he got that. And that's just one example. To make things worse, all of the mega.nz links that he has given in the many comments here about missing objects have all expired.
If you're going to create a map, you need to ensure your friends in the community will have a chance of using it!
He needs to include objects and spline folder in the download that provide all these mysterious missing assets. Otherwise what hope do we have.
In my experience downloads from the French community often have poor file organisation / missing and unspecified objects, etc.
Don't bother with this map, unless he acknowledges all the missing requirements and provides them.

Good evening,
Our apologies if the map caused you any problems during installation.
I'm aware that the lack of splines and objects that aren't mentioned is a problem.
However, creating a map means that you use a huge number of elements to make it work, so it's not always easy to know the elements that make up the map by heart.
As for the missing objects and splines, I was obliged by the webdisk to host them on Mega.nz because of the 0 tolerance policy of re-uploading objects if you don't have written authorisation from the creators of these objects/splines.
It's expected that in the next version, both patches will already be included, and many of the problems that have been reported will be fixed (notably the missing Avelia/00/Vezin), as well as the missing terrainpline.
Please note that the map has a discord, where we'll respond quickly to your questions, and you can send a message via the website. If you have the slightest problem with installing the map, we'll reply in English or French as you wish, and we'll also respond quickly to messages (usually within 48 hours).
If you have any other spline or object problems, please let us know so that we can fix them in the next patch, as we attach great importance to resolving users' problems.
It's true that in the French community, we tend to have a catastrophic organisation of our archives (objects, splines, etc.), but it's by pointing out the problems that we can solve them.
Thank you for reporting dead links. They will be corrected as soon as possible.

In the V3.3 version, busses are driving arround with no text on the matrix displays just line numbers. While the hoffiles are installed in the busses correctly.
Is there a fix for this?

II reccomend wiping your OMSI install (ofc make backup before) and trying to install this map yourself only using the things you've listed in the Overview page and files uploaded to the files here, you'll find a lot of mistakes.

Okay, so, first and foremost - if the map includes all addons, make sure all addons are actually there. I had to download Tettau to get some objects (mainly Trees_MC), and I'm not done yet. Folder structures are miserable - many missing object or spline errors can be solved by creating new folders with the name OMSI expects and copying already exisitng files there, because in your folder structure, there's a typo.
This is not the first time I had to spend a lot of time correcting maps from the french community. Using special characters in folder names, inconsistent file structures preventing the game to load, incomplete addon lists, the list goes on. Y'all need to get your house in order.
What I strongly recommend is that you create a clean installation of OMSI, put your release map in there in a state you intend to release it in, fix all loading errors, and only then publish the map.
All these chores are making me not even want to give your map a try. It's absolutely offputting

Where am I supposed to get all those Terrain Spline splines you demand? What's 4m_blablabla_Blumen2? Blumen4? Blumen5? Why is there 3 different version of the same spline used?
Why do you have splines in ADDON_CreativeStreets and in BS_ADDON_CreativeStreets? Some of them are also missing - old version variants? Why are there 100m versions of TS that aren't in the available TS release?
Why is the MAN F90 a scenery object and why is it a separate scenery object that can't be found?
Why did I have to create a folder ADDON_SimpleStreets folder in ADDON_SimpleStreets folder just to put one spline in?
Why are you using Freyfurt splines from Oberpfalz_3D without listing them as a prerequisite? Can I even be sure that I'll find them in the newest Freyfurt release at all?
What does the VOLBUS texture Feld_Grun that's already in the VOLBUS folder need a separate folder by itself?
