Dear users,
With this announcement, we would like to ring in the Christmas season in the WebDisk and inform you about the Advent campaigns that already took place in the same form in 2018 and 2020. Some of you may already be familiar with the key dates from last year. Nothing has changed compared to last year - except, of course, the content.
The Advent calendar with community content
From 1 December until Christmas Eve, there will be a door to open every day, behind which a download is hidden - everything that makes OMSI hearts beat faster is there! This year there are various repaint packs, chronos, bus mods and even individual complete maps. Numerous developers have participated, and we would like to express our gratitude to them. A very special thank you goes to Schleswig-Holstein, who coordinated the Community Advent Calendar.
Please note the following:
- Doors cannot be opened retroactively - and this is different from conventional (chocolate) Advent calendars - if you have forgotten a day.
- Doors that have already been opened can be viewed again at any time until 31 December, after which they can no longer be accessed. So save your downloads and keys locally!
- The participating developers are not obliged to make their material available separately in the filebase after the end of the Advent calendar. However, many developers have already signalled to us that they will do so. From 25 December onwards, you will gradually find the entries under the label "Advent Calendar 2021". - So don't be sad if you forget a door!
The complete rules will be linked separately as soon as they are available. You will find the advent calendar from 1 December onwards at the top of the homepage (mobile) or in the top right-hand corner (desktop).
Competitions with prizes from AEROSOFT and HALYCON
The advent calendar is accompanied by prizes that are randomly selected when doors are opened. AEROSOFT and HALYCON provide keys, discount coupons and donations in kind for this purpose. There is potential for something every day - so stay alert and open a door every day!
[infobox]We are already starting on 28 November with the competition for the 1st Sunday of Advent. On this day, you will find a box on the homepage where you can enter. On 29 and 30 November there will be no action, then on 1 December the Advent calendar will start.[infobox]
The rules for the raffles will also be linked separately as soon as the time comes. Please also note that each person may only participate in the promotions with only one WebDisk account. The administration will pay special attention to duplicate accounts during this period and will sanction them.
Further hints
Please take note of the following during the Advent calendar period:
- Keep your email address up to date! Otherwise we will not be able to send you any information and announcements and will block your account according to the rules.
- Do not create double accounts! Contact the team instead in case of account problems!
- Multiple participation in a competition with double accounts will result in a lifetime ban and possibly criminal charges for fraud.
- Do not use VPNs or public WLAN networks in the WebDisk.
