  • Hello, I'm quite new to modding Krueger matrixes in OMSI 2.

I never manage to install Krueger by myself, so I'm limited to the Krueger mods posted on the forum.
I've got it working on some of my buses, however, it sometimes occurs that the matrix turns out to look like this:

It should actually look like this:

Obviously the colour doesn't show up at all and the font is all glitched.

Any help with this (since this seems to be a recurring issue on several buses I have)?

Hat das Label von Fahrzeug auf Mod geändert
  • you may check if Vmatrix_constfile_K++_pc.txt is written inside the .bus file

_pc is the important part, the monochrome one is unable to show colours and habve problems with .bmps

Thank you for responding, I already had a feeling it was going to be this sort of conflict. I checked and indeed the polychrome file is missing. I'm gonna try and figure out how to add one myself, I'll keep you posted.

Many thanks! I managed to get it working, well kinda...
I tested and all matrixes work fine, except that red is for some reason showing up as blue.

I made sure I had all the right textures and fonts, used a stock polychrome script but no idea what could be causing it.

  • It's most likely due to the bit depth of the texture, try importing it in paint.net and when you're saving it, save it in 24-bit depth setting.

    Thanks for your reply.

I've done as you said and unfortunately it still seems to happen (meanwhile I've changed the icon but it should still be red).
Mind you, weirdly enough, this doesn't happen on all buses. At this moment I've only had this issue on my MAN Lion's City A21, but I suppose it might also happen for other buses which I haven't tested yet.

If you resize the image, you can see that some dots indeed show up red but for the most part it's cyan.

    Any other ideas?

  • Solution:

I was put in the right direction by some1 since the bus didn't have a polychrome Krueger script at first. Then, some colours appeared to render incorrectly. This seems to be resolved by simply copying all Vmatrix scripts from another bus with working polychrome Krueger installed over to the one that seemed to be glitched. It doesn't always have to be complicated I suppose.

To those who replied, thanks for your help!
