Bonjour tout le monde !
Aujourd’hui je vous dévoile un projet sur lequel je travaille depuis novembre 2024 : Entre Abers et Légendes.
Bienvenue dans le Finistère Nord, au bout de la Bretagne, au bout de la France, au bout du Monde !
Le nom de la carte vient de la dénomination locale de la portion du Finistère Nord comprise entre Lesneven à l’est, Landéda à l’ouest, Kerlouan au nord et Brest au sud : le Pays des Abers et la Côte des Légendes, au cœur du Pays Pagan.
Commençant en Septembre 2004, date importante car elle correspond à l’introduction du tarif unique à 2 € sur le réseau du département finistérien, dénommé Penn-ar-Bed.
Reprenant le paysage typique du bocage léonard côtier, alternant entre bourgs principaux, champs divisés par des haies et des talus, des hameaux étendus, des petites routes de campagnes marquées par l’âge, les bords de mer, les petits ports, le tout dans une topographie vallonnée, chaque lieu est unique.
L’exploitation du réseau Penn-ar-Bed est assuré par une délégation de service public par deux entreprises bien locales : les Cars des Abers à Plouguerneau et les Voyages Bihan à Lesneven.
La carte inclura trois lignes régulières : 36 Plouguerneau – Brest, 37 : Kerlouan – Brest et 38 : Brignogan – Lesneven – Brest.
Également, les différents bassins scolaires du secteurs seront inclus : Lannilis avec 10 lignes scolaires, Lesneven avec une vingtaine de lignes scolaires, Plabennec avec une dizaine de lignes scolaires, Brest avec une vingtaine de doublage des lignes régulières 36, 37 et 38.
Il sera également possible (selon ma volonté) que quelques services urbains soient présents.
Grâce à un travail de recherches d’archives, les horaires et les trajets des lignes régulières et scolaires seront quasiment identiques à la réalité, hormis limitations techniques liées à OMSI 2.
Il est à noter que le projet ne comportera pas directement tout ce qui est cité précédemment, au contraire, il possédera une publication progressive à un rythme variable. Pour le moment, la première version qui devrait être publié ne comportera qu’une portion restreinte de la carte finale.
Aucune date de publication n’est connue, car je suis loin d’avoir fini cette première version.
Dernier point, je ne cache pas le fait que plusieurs DLC commerciaux seront requis : Express 91.06, Saint-Servan, City & Regionbus 200 et Thüringer Wald. Bien que j’essaye d’utiliser au maximum des objets, routes et textures indépendamment de tout contenu pré-existant (gratuit ou payant).

Hello everyone !
Today I reveal a project I’ve been working on since november 2024 : Entre Abers et Légendes.
Welcome in the northern Finistère, at the end of Brittany, at the end of France, at the end of the World !
The map’s name comes from the local names of this portion of the northern Finistère between Lesneven to the East, Landéda to the West, Kerlouan to the North and Brest to the South : the Pays des Abers (Abers’ Country) and la Côte des Légendes (Coast of Legends), right in the heart of the Pagan Country.
Starting in September 2004, important date because it correspond to the introduction of the €2 fare on the departmental bus network, named Penn-ar-Bed.
Replicating the typical landscape of the coastal bocage léonard, alternating between main towns, fields divided by hedges and talus, sprawling hamlets, small coutryside roads, seasides, small harbours, all in a hilly topography, each place is unique.
The operation of the Penn-ar-Bed bus network is ensured by a public service delegation by two very local compagnies : Cars des Abers in Plouguerneau and Voyages Bihan in Lesneven.
The map will include three regular bus routes : 36 Plouguerneau – Brest, 37 Kerlouan – Brest and 38 Brignogan – Lesneven – Brest.
The various school districts in the area will also be included : Lannilis with 10 school bus routes, Lesneven with approximately 20 school bus routes, Plabennec with approximately 10 school bus routes, and Brest with approximately 20 reinforcement services on regular lines 36, 37 and 38.
It will also be possible (at my discretion) to include some urbans services.
Thanks to extensive archival research, the schedules and routes of regular and school bus lines will be virtually identical to reality, with the exception of technical limitations related to OMSI 2.
It should be noted that the project will not include everything mentioned above at once ; rather, it will be released gradually at varying intervals. Currently, the first version to be released will only contain a limited portion of the final map.
No release date is know, as I am far from finished with this first version.
Finally, I will be transparent about the fact that several DLCs will be required : Express 91.06, Saint-Servan, City & Regionbus 200 and Thüriger Wald. Although I try to use as many homemade objects, splines and textures as possible.
