    Hello! Now, this is my first post to the Webdisk community, so I was not sure where to post, but anyway, my question is: would it be possible to move a Hamburg modern ticket printer to another addon bus (in my case Iveco Irisbus Crossway (the high-entry model) or the S41X-family, so I could use the ”umlaufnummer” and route infromation system also when I drive with a non-Hamburg bus in Hamburg? And would it then be possible to get the route sign to work the same way than when using a Hamburg bus and entering the ”umlaufnummer”?

    That Umlaufnummer has basically no real function iirc, rout data/line number/terminus codes are directly derived from the timetable you set in Omsi. The Bremen MAN can do that as well.


    The problem with the hamburg ticket printer is that it uses a proprietary way of handling routes and announcements, so it is not possible to use the regular Hamburg.hof in any other bus without further modification. That also means that putting this printer in any other bus is quite painful to do since all the other stuff (Matrix, interior displays, ticket stampers) will probably not work correctly. Combined with the fact that this printer alone uses ~50 text textures itself makes it not very pleasant to use in any other bus, especially because it has quite limited functionality outside the Hamburg maps.


    It definetly is not impossible, just something I'd not recommend to do.

    Okay, thank you for the information! Then, I would like to ask what the S41x means with ”Route” when entering a line number and destination? I’ve tried to enter anything I can imagine, but with no success. And yes, I have the Hamburg.hof file already. And how do I use the Iveco route system?
