thats not right, there is this menu, right next to the timetable in the compartment to the left of the driver's seat, you can click on it to put it on your Steering wheel

I think based on the screenshot he's sent and the text he's posted he's refering to vehicle repaints.
I do know that there are menus similar to his original screenshot but only in some buses such as above the driver's seat in the BVG VDL Citea release which lets you change the vehicle repaint or this menu in the Jonkheere T2000 which is found in the timetable booklet.
But this is not universal across all buses and we probably shouldn't give new players the impression that it is.
