    One of ten brand new Jahn-Busreisen MAN NL330 New Lion's City 12C hybrid integrals is observed serving route 12 towards Vierden on a snowy Saturday afternoon in Steinkirchen ❄


    Amazed by the quality of this map (Steinkirchen v2), this was by far my most enjoyable OMSI drive of the year. Stunningly crafted & painted terrain, great use of height and no abundance of fun challenges. Works brilliantly as a winter wonderland. On top of that, 30-70fps! Hats off to everyone involved!

    Following a series of road closures due to adverse weather, First WoE's Clement St. depot Wrightbus Streetdeck integrals had to be pushed onto service 12, offering less power than the usual vehicles. Despite struggling on slippery gradients, most trips were completed without issue, albeit well behind schedule.






    One of 5 brand new Yorkshire Terrier 24/25 branded Volvo B8RLE / Wright Eclipse 3 is observed working Railway Replacement duties tonight, having been hastily pushed onto them following a string of signal failures on the line.

    So for a while on this map I have been getting never ending freezes. It usually happens when I look another way / look back and the textures are white, so OMSI must reload them, however sometimes it never unfreezes / recovers from this. Eventually the game must be closed with Task Manager.


    Additionally it happens when driving normally and a new tile is loaded. So, I thought it's an issue with OMSI itself, sometimes it will do that.


    However I after a while I noticed it only happened in this map, so checked the logfile, and it appears something may be wrong with one of the objects (chainlink fence) used in the map:

    I found a thread with discussion on this issue, and people implied there that it might be just a simple error that has no effect ingame, however in this case it seems to be the last line of the logfile before the crash...


    They also said graphics card may be relevant.. RTX 2080Ti driver version 462.96





    TGV 2205, an ex-KVAG Mercedes-Benz O303-15 KHP integral works an additional 24 service down to Luzern Bahnhof, to compensate for increased passenger numbers on a damp Swiss National Day.










    Several loaned Volvo B5TL / Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMC are observed here on some of their first trials & driver familiarizations in Westcountry 3, working off-peak trips. Drivers of express routes appreciated the improved engine power compared to the existing fleet.

    Probacher Verkehrs GmbH's newly loaned Iveco Crossway HV Euro 6 demonstrator is seen here in a soaking wet Waldesruh forest on its second run of the 531, this time the weather conditions not so forgiving!






    Probacher Verkehrs GmbH's newly loaned Iveco Crossway HV Euro 6 demonstrator gently traverses a humid Waldesruh forest, collecting passenger experience surveys from regular commuters on the 531 route earlier today. Initial feedback was positive, with the soft suspension often mentioned, however many passengers took issue with the seating's lack of padding.


    Blown away by the quality, configurability & performance friendliness of this DLC. Even the manuals & video trailer are superbly done! A true testament to passion and taking pride in a release. Hats off Kescrole, you should be very proud of yourself!

    Under the heat of a summery Friday afternoon, RVL Lemmental's LE-SV 25 (Ex-TKL 121), a Volvo B9RLE / Solaris Urbino 15 LE maintains service on route H32, still carrying its original livery.


    Definitely the most immersed I've felt in OMSI in a long while... Lemmental's brilliant motorway design (AI traffic speed, sliproads & laybys) combined with the wind, tire sounds & physics of this bus and ReShade gave strong echoes of ETS2. In my opinion, maps with complete explorable areas that are not part of routes are quite underrated.

    Note: The steering wheel was ported from the Masterbus Gen 3 DLC - credit to BlueOrange. The bus will remain private and will never be released with this installed.



    After a few days of grinding, here's 6 new steering wheels for V3D's Transbus ALX400 (Regional, London & Open Top (+) MS Hanover), each with 2 unique texture options, all usable ingame simultaneously! Clicking the steering wheel changes the option.


    Thanks to Matthew Wu for allowing use of his original models.


    Heavily modified by me to:

    • Allow repaintability, and for each steering wheel separately

    • Add reflectiveness on the steering wheel badges

    • Add several phototexture & blender bake texture options

    • Allow each texture option to be used ingame simultaneously

    • AI upscale the phototextures

    • Add scripts which allow the possiblity to hide the steering wheel as well as click to cycle through steering wheels

    • Refactor model configuration file and fix maximum steering wheel angle

    • Add interior light illumination support

    • Implement new animation from scratch (thanks Sobol for explaining this brilliantly ❤️)


    Currently WiP/Private (will be released at some point). Still need to fix a minor issue, add several badge texture options, re-texture area under missing cover for baked options and add in-game options to use baked textures with realistic bumps, etc.
