  • Having completed the creation of the final line, the 9373 and 9373X, I'm still planning some considerations for the bus lines, since I'll now go to the next phase of development: the train lines and stations. I already have a tutorial on this site regarding this matter.

Railroad crossings generally take away some time to the lines, therefore some minor adjustments to the 9372 and 9374 and their express variants will still be made. I don't plan to have a final version of the map, but I'm planning to have a continuous release (a rolling release-type development, with continuous updates down the line). Still, the first public beta (target build of 1776) is expected by May 2026.

EDIT: I added a school nearby Porto Alto, and I decided to bring the 9374 to there, therefore discontinuing the stop at the Praça Central. The route is now 9374: Porto Alto, Escola to S. José de Musashi, Estação.

  • After some testing, there was some things that I had to correct: long splines had to be split, objects attached to these had to be reassigned and reattached, traffic rules had to be fixed, and StationLinks (thank goodness for that feature) had to be reassigned. It had to be done, since it had splines with 160-200m of length, and the simulator doesn't handle that well.

In the meantime, I also changed some terrain textures, and the textures of some crossings - not all, since those coming with Great Grundorf v2 map and those provided by Yufa must be kept as they were originally without any modification. I also changed the splines themselves - including SimpleStreets, courtesy of Emil, although I had to create, in that particular case, an ABVModded folder.

  • Major changes were forthcoming in Alto da Boa Viagem, including the inclusion of intermediate stops in small places (called lugarejos in my native Portuguese), as were seen in the past screenshots in the respective place of this site. A new section, including the village of São Carlos de Oguri, built mostly upon existing tiles, was also made. Currently served by the line 9372.

    These lugarejos are:

    - Mostral (between Cadaval-o-Novo and Arruda, in the EN113-4 road, line 9371)

    - Quinta do Reguengo (between Fresca do Norte and Boa Viagem, in the EN116-3, line 9371)

    - Afonsos (between Vila Franca and the crossing point of São Carlos de Oguri and Mecha do Ribatejo in the EN112 road, line 9372)

    - Alvito (between Salvaterra and Brás do Canavial, in the EN345, line 9372)

    - A stop for the agricultural commerce centre (i.e, Entreposto Agrícola) in the EN113-1 was added too, between Vila Franca and Cadaval-o-Novo (line 9371).

Considerations are for adding another of these in the North side stop of the Castelo de Bode Park (9373) and between Vale de Faias and S. José de Musashi (line 9374). There will also be depot runs added to the express and shortened versions of the main lines, with new small depots in Salvaterra (MTB East), Vila de Frades (MTB West) and São José de Musashi (MTB North) added.

UPDATE: the lugarejos started to be added, with Abegoaria (line 9374) being the first one. Next in line will be 9373 with São Cristóvão.

  • The build 1700 threshold has been reached, and in build 1705, many changes were forthcoming, including into areas across Mecha do Ribatejo and Almeirim, sections mostly operated hy the line 9372. But this isn't the end of the changes.

In case of Almeirim, a new square was created around the theatre area in order to promote a bustling area in the town, something that was missing in the original conception. In Mecha do Ribatejo, the decision was to bring back the bus stop bays in order to avoid jamming the traffic that comes at 70 km/h.

There's also a new AI traffic list and repaint pack in the works: "Welcome to 2004" pretends to add some degree of modern vehicles in the AI map that the older version doesn't have present in the latter part of the map representation (2004-2008). You will need the payware DLC Thüringer Wald in order to be possible to use this pack, since it contains the unscheduled AI traffic used there in its basic version.
