Unable to load OMSI 2

    I am trying to launch OMSI but often it will not start or takes longer than 15 - 30 minutes to get to the title screen. The log file seems gets this far then stops...



    I applied the 4GB patch in case the executables were replaced when I updated but still nothing. I reopened the log file again at 01:26 and nothing has changed. I searched the TIR disabled entry but this relates to TrackIR which is off because I do not have it.


    I reinstalled everything in the OMSI 2 folder and cleaned/optimised the computer but it has not made much difference. This computer has had multiple component upgrades over the last few years with a new motherboard & SSD being installed just last year, it should not have any problem running OMSI 2 when it has run fine in the past.


    MB: B550M-PRO-VDH (Installed 2024)

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (used on previous MB installed 2016/2017)

    GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060 (Installed 2022/2023)

    RAM: 32GB (4x8GB)

    OS: Windows 11 home 64-bit


    Does anyone know why this has recently started loading so poorly?

    I deleted the ITX files but it hasn't make any noticeable difference. I completely reinstalled everything but only installed the base game but it still takes 15 minutes (10 minutes for the first loading screen to even appear) to open the main menu, installing any DLC addon just increases the menu loading time to 20-25 minutes just for the main menu to appear.


    This does not seem to be an issue with my PC as I can launch a cfx.re locally hosted server, launch FiveM and connect to the server within 2-3 minutes.
