[Sammelthread] Add-On Grand Paris-Moulon

  • Ich habe versucht, eine Spielsitzung zu machen, aber so sehr ich es auch versucht habe, ist es nicht zu bewältigen. Ich habe die Dateien aus dem Plugin-Ordner entfernt, ich habe versucht, die Spieloptionen drastisch zu ändern, aber nichts, ständiges Stottern des Spiels aufgrund der Ladetexturen und Probleme beim Beenden, was als Absturz gemeldet wird, tatsächlich wenn ich ein neues Spiel mache Sitzung erscheint mir das Spielfenster, das auf einen zuvor aufgetretenen Absturz hinweist und die Aktivierung von Multithreading empfiehlt (was nicht zutrifft, da ich das Spiel korrekt beendet habe).


    Ich glaube, ich deinstalliere es, schade, denn alles in allem ist es ein guter dlc, aber schlecht optimiert.

    First of all, thank you for the interest in my Grand Paris-Moulon DLC.

    I apologise for the inconvenience.


    To answer the various questions here:

    - [IT/RD] AlleE652Brennero: Can you please put the logfile? This will allow us to identify the problems encountered on the DLC and thus better guide you.

    - Simon_BKW : We've fixed the TUV Error issue in the 1.03 patch released on 29/04/2021 as well as improving the C2 NGT optimization. This bus is likely to be very heavy, and we had to optimize the entire interior seats and bars.Have you checked that you have the 1.03 patch (check if the file "OMSI2-AddOn_Grand-Paris-Moulon_v1-03" in the Addons>Grand Paris-Moulon folder is present). Also, can you send me your logfile so that I can see the presence of the TUV error in version 1.03, which is still not reported to me to this day, which I greatly regret.


    In general, I am quite honest to tell you that C2 NGT and some of our SAEIV scripts are causing problems for the DLC. We didn't give any more news after the 1.03 update because we felt, after feedback from players, that version 1 is now finally playable.

    However, the DLC requires a fairly high performance computer.


    To detect the problem, I can advise you to remove it and not to play it with the C2 NGT (although this solution I propose is totally inappropriate on my part). You should either :

    - remove it in ailists.cfg (if you know how to do it)

    - disable the AI Bus in the Omsi game options


    That way we can all see if without the bus the DLC works without problems. If it does, we'll take a close look at what's wrong with the C2 NGT (despite our previous efforts to fix it).


    I have just tested the C2 NGT on my Omsi, with the DLC version 1.03, and my logfile shows no "TUV Error".


    In addition, I would like to inform you that despite my involuntary absence for a few months for personal and professional reasons, version 2 is under development. Many new features as well as a better optimization of the map and buses will make the GPM game experience better! The first communications on this version will appear soon on our instagram account (https://omsi-g.pm/insta).

  • We've fixed the TUV Error issue in the 1.03 patch released on 29/04/2021 as well as improving the C2 NGT optimization.

    Okay, whenever I tried to drive the bus in the past I got the TUV errors. I will try it after a reinstall and post my solutions here.


    AgoraS-114 I have now tried it and you were right it came temporarily no more TUV errors but Omsi had closed after only 10 minutes without error or otherwise. I have attached the logfile below.

  • So AgoraS-114 , I re-downloaded the mod, I removed the conflicting files in the plugins folder and I replaced the ailist of all AI media with playable ones.


    After that I did a game session running line 14 with the C2 NGT, and it was a continuous texture loading lag with a few moments of game freezing.


    And it is absurd for me that I have a medium-high level pc that can withstand heavy scenarios such as ahlheim laurenzbach and ahlheim v4 (so to speak), my signature proves that I don't have a low level pc.



    In the logfile, if you notice, the final part that says "Actual map closed!" and "OMSI is closing ..." not there! And when I reopen the game to make a new game session, the window of possible blocking of the game appears and I recommend activating multitreading. All time. What just happened to me was that I installed this dlc.

    I reiterate that I have the 4gb patch installed and I have installed the directx9 library.

    AgoraS-114 this is another test game session that I did a little while ago, same line 14 with a different means of the dlc, but setting options only important lines and textures limited to 256, same situation as before, but with a slew of TUV errors 3.

    So, I made a third and final attempt to have (at least) some semblance of fluidity in the scenario.

    I have resized many textures that were in the 4096x2048 format, I modified the ailist by removing all the C2s, and actually, there was an apparent improvement in this sense at the beginning.

    Too bad it did not last long and the lag's returned and upon arrival of the stop (always with line 14) I find myself with a nice freezing and crash that I had to brutally close through the task manager. I honestly give up. X/

    I'm a few days late with my answer. My professional obligations prevent me from providing you with a rapid response, so I apologise for this inconvenience.


    After reading and analysing your log files, it turns out that the game crashes instantly for no apparent reason, no "serious" error causing this very sudden closure.

    It's very complicated to find the exact error.

    Have you tried running without C2 NGT, and removing all the AIs, what does that do?


    I assume that the C2 NGT as well as a SAEIV tool can be the fault of these heavy bugs.

    We are working on this to make GPM playable in version 2.


    I thank you for your feedback, it will allow us to improve the addon accordingly.

  • So, I only answer now since I am committed to something else, however, the test proposal you made me I was thinking of doing it. I plan to do it in this period. However, I tried to remove all the C2s by doing an ad hoc ailist, sometimes it was possible to do a round trip service in one line, sometimes not. Eventually I will try to replace them with vehicles without the SAEIV system.

    However, I can also try to remove the npc AI vehicles and replace them with the default ones, or decrease them. Or possibly to insert them in scenarios other than GPM and see what it entails.

    Or maybe it's my VGA that doesn't support textures over 2048 and goes into "crisis".

    If I can this weekend, I'll do some more tests and let you know.

  • I like this map very much, but it would be more lovely, if in the 2nd version those Spandau objects and splines will be replaced as much as possible by real french objects and splines. We have seen those standard things already too often everywhere. For example on line 11 the german "Gasthaus zur Post" can be seen twice. On line 91.06 there is a subway entrance of "St. Pauli" from the Hamburg map. Even the flickering textures of the streets are not nice. And why do have AI-busses completely black windows? Is it because of performance? At some bus stops passengers get out of the bus and walk away higher in the air or directly trough the bus, also for example on line 11. There are no wires for electric trains at those railway tracks. So far, looking forward to your new version.

  • I have tried this dlc again and it goes as bad as always, not even on my 11th generation i5 with an rtx 3060 it works well. :(


    Are there plans in the future to update it? I've been out of OMSI for about 1 year.

    ich habe mir heute Gran Paris-Moulon gekauft und es wird mir nicht in der Map Auswahl in OMSI angezeigt... Habe es schon 2 mal entfernt & neu hinzugefügt, in der Logfile taucht weder die Map, noch ein passender Fehler auf...

  • Ich finde die Karte nicht in der Übersicht. Ich kann sie in Omsi selbst also nicht mal auswählen. Saint-Servan was heute auch Installiert wurde, wurde mir direkt nach dem Starten angezeigt.

    And that means that it is not necessarily the reproduction of the city of PARIS itself...

    The GPM addon is strongly inspired by the Paris-Saclay agglomeration:

    Berlin X10 doesn't have the "Berlin Wall" as far as I know? Well same thing here. Just because it's a French DLC doesn't mean the city of Paris is reproduced, there are other more interesting and pretty things in France 😉!

  • This DLC, whenever you close the game when you are in GPM, there is a sound from Windows in the background. Then when you restart OMSI2 it tells you "OMSI 2 failed to close" or a similar message.


    It's one of those DLCs that I bought excited, but I've only spent 2 hours at most. Mainly because of its disastrous performance.


    And anothers DLCs run perfect in my i5 11th, rtx 3060 and 16gb RAM.
