  • Wacke up dude! We dont live in the 30s anymore, were Germany was locked in their Cage with his one-way thinking ;-)

As well I try to use English Shool Level only so that every 6-Years old child should be enable to understand what I'm asking for.

Beside this just to remember you:

You are the one who asking for help, not me.

My offer to you is that I'm willing to try to help ya without taking anything for it.

    Gamer helps Gamer.

    This is how it works.

Just for the case that you doesn't want my help, please give me a note.

I got enough other people who need my help and who are at least thankful for it.

And yeah. if you really don't understand English language at all:

As Wagen122 allready said, use a Translator.

    Best Regards

    Peter

  • Sorry!

I didn't have English at school because I went to a special school for the learning disabled.

Unfortunately, I was only able to take photos of my game settings for OMSI2 from my cell phone.

    I apologize again .

    I used the Goggle translator.

Hier sind meine OMSI 2 Spiele Einstellungen

  • Hey, ich kann dir folgende Maßnahmen empfehlen:

    1) Zielwiederholrate auf 60 FPS

    2) Objektkomplexität auf 2

    3) Max. Speicherbedarf für hochauflösende Texturen auf 8000 MB

    4) Reduziertes Multithreading ausschalten

  • It has nothing to do with wich school do you visit too.

It has to do with your behavioral.

You need to learn to be a bit more thankful if someone spend his time to help you with any problem.

Maybe you think that is just Normal that someone spend his time to help you finding a solution for your problem, but it isn't.

So think about that for a second.

    Back to topic.

I would recommend you the followring settings and see if it helps.

Setup Target refresh rate to 60 FPS.

    Object complexity to 2.

Max. memory requirement for high-resolution textures to 1000 MB.

    Turn off Reduced Multithreading.

    Friendly Regards

    Peter

    Hey,

    Just a question please.

Why did you recommend him to set Maximum memory requirement for high-resolution textures to 8000 MB??

He only has a GT 730..

Sorry, but this doesn't makes any sense.

    Regards

  • Don't stress yourself.

We all should know what it means to have a bad time in life.

it's all good as longest you don't produce your stress to other people who has nothing to do with it.

    Thank you verry much.

    The question is: Why not?

My graphics card is also not the newest, but the PC only uses as much of the memory as he needs. I use these options and my game runs pretty good

  • Well. A GT 730 has maximum 4GB VRAM Only!..

But only if he has the biggest Version.

In normal this graphic card has 2 GB VRAM Only!..

So what is your argument to recommend someone with this graphic card to set Max. memory requirement for high-resolution textures to 8000 MB??...

Sorry, i dont get that at all..

    Peter

  • Peter150 Yes, from a technical POV it might make no sense, this is just how I set this thing in MY settings, so that I don‘t have to fear that Omsi hasn‘t enough memory for high-res textures.

    @KOM_54

Sorry, but your explaining doesn't makes any sense again..

As more it has nothing to do with the fact that Omsi hasn‘t enough memory for high-res textures..

Therefore the 4GB-Patch is verry useful to "upgrade" OMSI2 to an 64-Bit Version what can handle up to 4GB RAM, against the normal 32-bit version of OMSI2 what can handle 2GB RAM only.

    But here is the different!

And probably the reason why you misunderstood the situation as well..

So I will try to explain it to you once again.

in his case it has nothing really to do with how much RAM he has, as more with how much VRAM he has, because he have a Graphic card installed!.

If he wouldn't have a Graphic card Installed then your explaining would make sense, because then his Computer would use the System-RAM for memory for high-res textures as well!..

But because he uses a graphic card, what is even strong enough to handle normal processes from OMSI2 by it's own with the right settings, so in his case, the "Maximum memory requirement for high-resolution textures" thing is more related to how much VRAM he has, and not how much RAM he has!..

RAM is for the whole Computer.

VRAM is for Graphic card only!

    Do you understand it now?

    Peter

  • Doesn‘t matter for me…

The user asked how to improve his FPS rate and I explained him my settings, because I have almost the similar hardware configuration and my Omsi works pretty good with this settings. What the user does with this information is up to him.

End of the discussion (at least from my side)

Well. If you doesn't metter, why you try to give that guy any sencless recommendations without haiving any argument for it??...

Sorry, but this way of Spamming senseless crap isn't useful at all and should be punished right away!!

    Peter

  • Well. If you doesn't metter, why you try to give that guy any sencless recommendations without haiving any argument for it??...

Excuse me? Actually I gave him the same answers as you gave him: Turning up the max. FPS, turning up the memory, switch out the reduced multithreading and reducing the object complexity.

I have 1.300 hours in Omsi and if I wouldn‘t know how to help him, I wouldn‘t write something in this Thread

Moreover, my argument still is that I have almost the similar hardware as he has and the fact that my Omsi works almost fluent

  • I never ever had write the same as You!!..

As well i would never give someone a recommendation without having an argument for it!...

Best Regards and happy new year!
