    Finally got a chance to drive the Veiling after a long break from OMSI. Am blown away by the quality, from the convincing embedded lighting in textures to the perfect soundsets. Performance was also solid throughout. Great work Masterswitch Studios!

    As someone who's played OMSI quite heavily since 2012 with a 750+GB installation (~270 maps), this map is easily in my personal top three. Very impressive & immersive, and great on performance for the detail level. Thanks to fan79 for sharing their masterpiece!

    Although this addon is brilliant (I made a post here before), I can't help but notice it performs exceptionally poorly recently for me. This seems to have gotten worse with recent patches, unfortunately. The regular tile load freezes are 5-6x longer than all other OMSI maps and its quite easy after a tile load for OMSI's fps to drop by 10-15 and start microstuttering until the tile is unloaded.


    Texture loading "freezes" (when you look away at a building then back for example, and its white while the texture loads) are also exponentially longer than on any other map. Sometimes, OMSI does not even recover from these which I have never seen before.


    I had a peek through the sceneryobjects and it seems some of the textures, especially those of the trees and animals are quite high resolution at around 4k or 2k. I was wondering if the map could be looked at and possibly optimised, since it blows most maps out of the water in quality. Its a stunning map filled with potential but this issue prevents me from enjoying it properly... I'm sure this is solveable without sacrificing quality!

    Go-Ahead London EH5, an early ADL Enviro 400 Hybrid (E40H) is observed here working a busy 322 service on a cloudy afternoon. Soon to retire, it is one of the last remaining units in public service still equipped with green 'Dayglo' style destination blinds.

    Great map, but whenever the tile with Nesselwang Bahnhof loads (this happens at Nesselwang Am Gleis), the game starts microstuttering very hard, freezing for 0.1s every 1 second. When the tile is unloaded, the issue goes away. No other tiles on the map have this issue.


    It's 100% reproducible for me I've tried many times. Potentially worth looking into as there may be some object with a bad mesh/script/texture causing this
