OMSI Problem

    1. Mit welchem Programm hast Du ein Problem? (Hauptprogramm, Editor, SDK Tools, etc.)

    2. Bitte beschreibe das Problem so ausführlich wie möglich. Was ist passiert oder was hat vielleicht zu dem Fehler geführt?

    >ich fahre ganz normal egal welcher Bus und auf einmal hängt sich das Spiel auf, der Bildschirm wird schwarz und nach 5 Sekunden geht es im Spiel wieder weiter... (4 GB Patch auch drauf)

    Loading map tiles and accompanying AI vehicles.
    Reduce the maximum number of AI buses, and if that doesn't help - edit the map's ailist.cfg file, replacing the buses with less resource-intensive ones.

    The map's resource consumption may also be a potential problem. However, I suggest starting with AI traffic.

    es passiert mir oft das der Bildschrim komplett schwarz wird und nach 5 Sekunden bin ich dann wieder in OMSI drinnen , die Logfile Meldung Direct3D-Device lost!. Der Omsi Bildschirm ist währenddessen komplett schwarz.
    Was kann man gegen Direct3D-Device lost! tun?
    Omsi ist im Kompatibilitätsmodus Windows 7
    Direct x9 ist auch frisch installiert

    Consider buying a graphics card.

    A used GTX 1660 6GB or better would be a good choice.


    I can't help, especially since the integrated GPU settings are very limited and we've already exhausted the game's settings.

    Furthermore, the log you attached indicates a crash in the integrated GPU driver (igd9trinity32.dll).


    You can try reducing the aliasing strength.

    Quit the game and open the options.cfg file. Locate the [texFilter] entry. The first value indicates the aliasing mode: 0 for none, 2 for linear, 3 for anisotropic. The second value indicates the strength and should be a power of 2. The default setting is anisotropic x16.

    and I haven't had it for very long, so I'm not going to buy another one for the time being. So basically, this PC is too bad for the game...? I'll just have to live with it, but it's very annoying..

    Vermutlich wird hier tasächlich der PC das Problem sein. Diese (recht teure) quadaraitsche Box hat nicht so den fürs Gaming ausgelegten Inhalt. Da Omsi nun auch nicht gerade gut optimiert ist, wird das v.a die integrierte Grafik sehr schnell an ihre grenzen stoßen.

    You might consider a modification (OCuLink) that allows you to connect an external graphics card.


    However, it's more cost-effective to buy a laptop (if mobility is important to you) or build/buy a computer in a miniITX or uATX case (if you want features and future expansion, while still achieving a level of portability similar to a mini PC).

    This doesn't only apply to OMSI, every game will have a problem, integrated graphics cards are not designed for games, but for office work.

    Unless we're talking about games like Solitaire or older Valve games on minimum settings...
