If the mod you have installed replaces the original bus files and more, I cannot be responsible for any issues you encounter. That's why I was asking if you had mod. A simple repaint doesnt change anything, but if you start touching scripts, bus files, or more, it's obvious I can't help you since i only have the stock DLC

If it still doesn't work when you try the DLC only in its original form, without any mod, I'll try to help you. On the other hand, if it becomes clear that the issues comes from the mod you installed, support will stop here : it's already hard enough to give support for my unmodified bus

If you bought the DLC on steam, or activated your key on steam, I suggest you uninstall the DLC and re-install it.

Which mod do you have installed on the setra ?

You confirm you have always had the problem ever since you got the DLC ?

Could you send me a logfile next time you play the DLc and encounter the issue ?

Well, that leads me to think the problem comes from you then, I've spent a lot of time driving the 2+2 variants and I've never had doors getting stuck after 4 stops, even after 20 stops.

Did you try to re-install the DLC ?

Can you answer precisely the following questions ?

Which dashboard had the bus you encountered issues with (VDO or SETRA) ?

Have you installed some mods/altered any scripts of the bus ?

Are you running the last version of the bus, if so have you encountered other issues that could make me thing the update didn't go through completely ?

When did you buy the DLC exactly I.E. Have you bought it before any updates, or did you wait after version 1.2 to buy it ?

Have you always had this issue or is it a recent problem ?

Do you play with other performance unfriendly DLCs such as BBS ?

Ok, it's done. But what I can think of right now, I also have the problem with the 319 1+2+1 and it's just getting annoying and I don't know why but I'll uninstall and reinstall the addon! Maybe that will help!?

Thank you, I think you mentioned the error, watch out, I installed a mod that removes the stops brake that the doors without opening, I think that's the error!

Maybe that will, but it looks like you only have this issue on 3 doors buses, that's already usefull information. Does this happen only on the front door ?

I'm confused.

Firstly, Iam not I understood everything you all said beacause as I complained before, I don't understand german, and translating everything is a lot of unnecessary extra work for me...

Secondly, MB C2 contacted me in PM and then closed the conversation, so I can't answer, do I have to consider the problem to be solved ?

Thirdly, having spent a looot of time driving these buses prior to their release, and after that I have never encounterd this issue.

I need more info to do anything about it. I understant the symptoms are : the door is closed but the game thinks it isn't ?

Having never encounterd such strange bug myself I need to know more to troubleshout a potential issue or simply pinpoint what you may do wrong, that could explain you are the first person to report this bug. Maybe it does Happen on a variant I don't drive often, in that case I need to know which one to test it.

Thank you for your help I didn't even bothered to translate this message, since it was posted just under a discussion where I was saying it would be nice for people to do half the work and write in english. Judging by your moderation message, this was baddly written, I wouldn't even have understood with deepl .

It is indeed tiring this questions that always come back, especially when you know the answer has been written numerous times on this topic and the other topic about this DLC, but as long as it stays a relatively rare question it's ok .

Of course I am fully aware of that, but I started talking about this subject of "which language to use" because a user complained I didn't fix something he complained about it. My point is : if you wan't to maximise your chance of me taking your suggestion into account, the best way is writing in a language I understand besides, german people are generally almost bilingual which is far from the case here in France, I'm already nice enough to write in english myself

I am aware that the webdisk counts mainly german users, but this is suppose to be an international forum for all OMSI users, german users have to underrstand that not everyone speaks their language and furthermore it is a very difficult language to learn and understand (I know that because I've studied german for 5 years and I still don't understand a word of german The fact I stopped learning it 6 years ago doesn't help either).

I'm not sure what will be the future developpement of this addon for now. Tbh with you there are still things I would like to do, such as 2+2 S319, 2+2+2 S315 and S319 or even VOITh and manual trnasmissions, but I'm not sure when/if this will be done since my priority have slightly shifted for now.

Not everyone is able to write in English and when they use a translator, the probability is high that their issue gets unclear due to bad translations.

I use deepl myself, but I think that it is easier for users to write their own message in english/use deeple, than for me to translate all 284 messages of this TOPIC, that was my point

if everyone writes in the same language it is better for everyone, because if we all think "there is deepl out there" I may also write in french which sould be far easier for me :p

The fact is that this is a support thread. The point of this thread is for users to report bugs/ideas for me to improve the DLC. I don't find it's too much to ask users to simplify the task to the developper (ie me) by writing in a language he understands + it makes the debates/discussion a lot easier to follow for everyone.

To come back to the original debate, in order not to translate everything, I only translate big messages, or messages with attachement, hence I might miss out on small messages or only text messages. This wouldn't happen if they were written in a language I understant.

However, none of the users can be blamed, because despite me asking for the subject language switched to french+english, the person who created the topic decided to put german as a language, which if you follow the rules of this forum means you either have to speak german or english if you don't speak the language of the subject. That's unfair because I don't speak german, and as the developper I should be the first person to be concerned by this topic.

Anyway, I think most issues were corrected with the 2 updates, so I don't expect much more messages here, but for a next time, I just wan't to say that it makes my life easier if I don't have to translate every message

You say there are « many errors » but you only talk about one, which btw is not an error. When you désactivate the stop brake you need to accelerate for the bus to move… Instead of being unnecessarily negative, maybe you could write down your remarks for the product to move forward ?? Such comments serve no one, you don’t give any constructive feedback, yet you somehow seem to think it’s usefull to tell the creator how bad his creation is. The best you can achieve is discouraging the creator.

Remember, I’m alone, not a team of pro devs everything will be fixed some day but that’s hard to follow for me alone. I may have forgot some things but they will be fixed at some point as well.

A forum is a very hard média to keep track of remarks especially when I have to translate half of the message because I don’t understand one word of German.

To be honest it would help me greatly if the community made the effort to write to me

in English so I don’t have to translate everything

Der S319NF E2 hat hinter der 3. Tür einen gröberen Mappingfehler, wäre schön wenn das noch korrigiert wird. Ebenso beim S315NF die Leiste unterhalb der Fensterkante zwischen Tür 1 und 2.

There are some Mapping issues with the window behind the third door of the S319NF E2 (see below). The S315NF (tested on E3) has also some issues at the red marked area under the windows between first and second door (i removed the advertisement there because of this issues, don't have a better picture).

The red part below the windows is usually never painted because it’s not glass, therefore it’s elsewhere on the template

The black part is the shadow obtained while baking the model for the template. You only need to take the small shadow from a Swiss model and copy paste the part on another template

SADOP On the picture by omsi_sw one can see another wrong part of the model: the A-pillar (don't know the term in english) should be straight up with no tilt at the front. It is exactly vertical.

À pillar is correct in English I don’t understand what you mean though ?

I don’t know exactly when the new logo came, but I know for sure that the old logo was mounted on the first €3, as well as the old grills on the rear hatch. For the Color of the grill you can modify it yourself via the repaint, (grey, black, blue, whatever you like) and the logo type is just a setvar. Though you only have the old one on the €2
