I managed to run the Spandau Xtreme Gold map, one of the legendary maps of the OMSI game, in OMSI 2 and I merged the 1st and 3rd part maps and added the M37, X37, 130, 131, 137, 337, N30 lines to this map. While adding ai lines to the map, I wanted to check the map and I saw that the back of the articulated buses disappeared when passing through some areas. I noticed that 12 metre solo buses and double-decker buses do not cause this problem. However, I wanted to get help from the OMSI community because using these buses would reduce realism. I changed the ‘Max. Sound Count’ in the settings to 1000 for the problem written in the logfile file, but there was no change. I can share the map in this way, but it seemed more correct to solve the problem and share it that way. Also, I don't think this problem is caused by PC performance, because these buses are only like this after passing through a certain area. Other than that, there is not even the slightest problem, no matter how many buses there are.

Another thing I did to solve the problem was to think that the splints that the buses pass through were problematic and I changed them, but the problem was not solved again. If I can't solve this problem, I don't know how to share the map in this problematic way :(.

  • what I can see is, that you failed to install the IVU properly.

    Code
    200 12:22:52 - - Error: Error: command "(M.L.IVU_Ticketbox_frame)" (vehicles\MB_C2_EN_BVG\\script\C2_BVG_main.osc) macro name is invalid!
    201 12:22:52 - - Error: Error: command "(M.L.IVU_Ticketbox_init)" (vehicles\MB_C2_EN_BVG\\script\C2_BVG_main.osc) macro name is invalid!

looks like missing varlists or scripts in .bus

I apologise for forgetting to mention that I have this problem with all articulated buses. I reinstalled the IVU as you said and even replaced all the buses with standard MAN NL/NG vehicles, but suddenly the back of the articulated bus disappeared again in the same area.

  • If you don't mind me asking, how did you get it run on Omsi 2?

This is unfortunately a situation whose individual steps are very difficult to explain. I could not convert Part 2 to OMSI 2 no matter what I did, but every time an error occurred in Part 1 and Part 3, I deleted the objects that caused the error from the areas where those errors were found. Then I changed the names of some old objects and rewrote those data paths in the .map file. Finally, I managed to merge these two maps. It was a really difficult and laborious process. That's why I'm thinking of sharing this map because making this map is as hard as making a map from scratch. However, it seems that this will be delayed a little bit because of this bug in the articulated buses that I cannot solve. If this bug persists, I will share the map with a ailist consisting of only double-decker and 12-metre buses.

Okay thanks for the reply. Best of luck to you hopefully you get it working correctly.
