Today I decided to browse the forum and noticed that most threads seem to show an incorrect number of posts and subthreads (I've attached screenshots). To be honest, I'm a newbie, so I might be missing something. Is it possible that these threads are just hidden from me

Maybe this is caused by your language settings. Thread authors are able to set wether the main language of their thread is English, German or French to allow the users to find threads of relevance easier. You´re able to define which thread you want to see - English, German or French. For example, I activated only German and English threads as I don´t speak French. I guess you set 'English' only and, as the most threads on this forum are in German, you don´t see the other ones which leads to this wrong counter.
