  • Well, I can say that people get in at the first door even if it isn't fully open yet. You go through the closed door. Then the whining of the ZF is repeated three times and my gray steering wheel went black after a few minutes and only the steering wheel. The newer gray dashboard and the bus itself were not affected, only the steering wheel. Door 2 works fine for me.

  • It must be playable by most people and such modifications are not the first to come to mind when you develop content.

And I can’t accept all my work being insulted because some advanced modification was not successfull. I can’t be responsible for that…

The question is if an addon should work somehow or should it have a clean script that works because everything is clean and sorted. Doubled variables don't give the impession that there is all structured in the script folder.

Btw. another thing I noticed, perhaps you can note that for your next projects: It is not recommended to use png files for textures as OMSI turns them black when memory comes to a critical point, way earlier than dds or tga. And second thing about textures: You should alway use sizes of 2^x, as 1024x1024 or 512x4096, as OMSI can only handle these sizes. So if you have 1500x312 OMSI has to recalculate the texture when loading what causes longer time of texture loading and so some freezes.

I had no idea about that, thanks for the tip :3

Ooh i understand better now :) the animation of the door is done so the first half of the door opens very late, that’s why the go through it early ^^

I too have had the problem that it freezes more and more often. Without any error message in the red line. It just sticks. Is there any way to fix this yourself?

  • Okay, but we're talking about the single-leaf door in the front. I tested it on the S 315 NF 1+2 and that's when I noticed it. What I also noticed is that the Autokraft with the Doll advertising is actually intended for the Euro 3, since the additional ventilation grilles are not visible at the back.

Ok I’ll take a look. However the autokraft is an €2 for sure ;) I have picture to confirm that :)

  • Hallo,

    Hello,

I changed that from (see here: Post 112). Neither the rear nor the front door will be opened. You only hear the sounds. I put it back to the original file. However, all of a sudden the doors won't open anymore.

    Greeting,

  • The things I noticed earlier are shown in pictures. :)

Yes, Autokraft also had a €2 fine, but the repaint would be more like €3. :)

I stand by it, this exact bus was €2, I have the pictures from when it was in sales, not all €2 had 2 grills at the back ;)

I suggest you reinstall the addon because this is simply just not possible ;) if it still doesn’t work I will try to send you some scripts by PM sort this out.

    Hello,

I reinstalled the addon. Hopefully it's working properly again now. So the reinstallation helped. Can you somehow change that for yourself personally, that the doors just open a little faster. They rise very slowly.

  • Hello Sadop, since the update it has been the case that the 1st door is closed and the entrance lighting sometimes stays on, because the passengers climb in through the closed 1st door. At the 2nd door it is sometimes the case that only one door leaf closes or both door leaves remain open and you only hear the door closing sound. Bus where I noticed that was the S315 NF € 3 in the door variant 1 + 2

Oh okay, because I didn't say anything. Does the 2+2 variant actually get another ticket printer or why hasn't this variant installed one? When you first got started, you understood what I meant, didn't you?

No, 2+2 will not have a ticket printer because I don’t have anything that fits the bus. I can put tickets if it’s a feature many would like to see coming :)

I’m not sure I understand what your mean in the last part of your message ? :(

Hi. I’m glad performance has improved :D . I changed the door animation to be laggy as they are in real life, I posted a video to compare the real door with the omsi one. Maybe what you consider to be lags simply is the door animation ;) don’t hesitate to come back to me if it’s not that, I can always give you the old scripts back

Maybe try to convert the steering wheel texture to the dds format and remove the png texture from the folder. It will work and should improve performance. However I would recommend to keep the png texture somewhere in case it’s not working ;)

There is no need to delete the png. If there is a dds with the same file name in the texture folder OMSI automatically chooses that dds and ignores the png, tga, bmp or whatever. Just save the png as dds in the same folder an it should work.

I meant that I was wrong, because in fact there were some €2 that didn't have additional fans. :)

Aaaah now I understand :D my best way of differentiating €2 and €3 is the width of the rear windows, on the €3 the blacked out part on the back are wider and the clear part narrower. Otherwise from the outside it’s hard to tell because early €3 had the black front with old logo and the old style of grill at the back
