  • Good news, but dangerous to name exact release dates here, even you say "maybe later". Did you see the discussion at the C2-Citybus Family? Many people complain about the missing release on the written date, eventhough they said "date not final"

Any information about Ticketprinter / IBIS, that is installed by default?

  • yes, you wrote clearly, I read it and nobody can force you to release on exact this date.

But some other in this community don't read explanations, just dates and ask later"Why didn't you release, as promised?" Just wanted to warn you about this possible problems.

Hat den Titel des Themas von „MAN A78 Minipack“ zu „MAN A78 Minipack (BETA Released!)“ geändert.
  • i made a quick test ride yesterday.

-You released at least a new bus with a good model, that's worth a like

-Model and texture is quite good so far. :)

-It has the running down rain effect like the O405, very good <:o)

    -Loud ZF Sound

-front is flat, just as original A72, is that true in real life? I don't think so, but I worked a little bit on the A72 and know that curving the front could be very difficult.

-Missing Matrix fonts in download, or did I miss a link to needed extra fonts? I will build in a Lawo for me anyway

-No number buttons on IBIS (because it doesn't have some in Real life), or is there some kind of trick instead of keyboard? but I will build in some kind of touch RBL printer for me

  • Missing Matrix fonts in download, or did I miss a link to needed extra fonts? I will build in a Lawo for me anyway

Yeah, those are the churakrueger+ fonts that come with the Solaris PL Pack. I'm sorry that I forgot about them. I will provide them in the next update so that there won't be any more issues.

No number buttons on IBIS (because it doesn't have some in Real life), or is there some kind of trick instead of keyboard? but I will build in some kind of touch RBL printer for me

The IBIS has buttons from 0-9 on the screen that can be touched, in case someone doesn't know how to use it via keyboard. There are 4 buttons at the upper part, all their functions are shown below each one.

It isn't like that in real life, as other scripts would be necessary, but this is how it works.

I found this curious bug, passangers enter by the 2nd door even it's not opened.

Known bug. I hope I can fix it in the next update.

  • The bus has been downloaded over 5k times since its release! I'd like to say a big thank you for this, it makes me really happy that people enjoyed playing with it, despite the vehicle being in a beta state.

What can I say else is that the first update will come in september, in which, apart from bugfixes, there will be also some new stuff that will enhance the playing experience. Stay tuned for more info!

  • And there it comes the first update for the bus. Version 1.1 is about to be released today, and, as I've mentioned before, it will include bugfixes, some smol improvements and some new stuff also.

It will be released as an entire package, so, if you made some private changes or other stuff, make sure to backup them.

    L.E: Released, enjoy ;)

  • In March 2020, as almost all countries were imposing lockdowns, I started working on this vehicle (which is one of my favourites in RL), in order to make it available in OMSI as well. I barely had any 3D modeling knowledge at that moment, but, from time to time, the skills have improved significantly. It was a challenge for me from where I learned new things that helped me with other projects as well.

Then, almost 5 months ago, the first version of the MAN A78 was publicily released on Webdisk. One month later, an update that fixed most of the issues spotted by the community and improved some stuff was later added.

This month, the bus has reached the milestone of 10.000 downloads! I'm really glad about this, and I can't really say anything else but a sincere "thank you" to the entire community for downloading and sharing their impressions regarding this mod. Whether good, bad, constructive or not, all of them helped me find ways and solutions to improve it more. I know, it's still not in its final form, but.. who knows, maybe a new update will come in the foreseeable future.

As the exam period at my University is beginning next week, it is obvious that I can't really focus on OMSI anymore, but that doesn't mean I'll eventually retire.

I also come with some news. A new bus will come in this game, and it will be released to the public once it's finished. It may take months, years.. who knows, I'm not Nostradamus to predict the future. :D

Anyway, I will do more detailed announcements about it when the right time will come. Until then, a little spoiler: 🇮🇹.

Have a great New Year and let's hope for the better in the future. See ya!
