  • After downloading a 3D Model Bus for my Autistic Son a while back, I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me. I realise this is a big ask, but can anyone integrate the Versa Bus into Omsi2. My son only wants the bus for his own interest. He is Versa mad.

  • You already asked for exactly this topic a while back, if I'm right. And someone already told you that it wasn't possible to do so....

  • I am sorry if I appear to be persistent. My son has Autism and that is the only reason i tried so hard. If you say it is not possible then fair enough. I will not ask again.

  • @OptareVersa

I don't want that to sound derogatory or offensive. But converting a bus from a purchased 3D model to OMSI is a lot of work, requires a lot of research and knowledge in scripting and animation. It's a lot of work and a lot of time.

Maybe your son will also enjoy buses that are already available in OMSI.

    Best regards
    Daniel

  • If I may add, that one of the British developers is currently working on an Optare. Now I'm not sure if that is the same or at least similar model, but there's hope. Here's a link to V3D's webpage. This developer is well known in the OMSI community. If you scroll all the way to the bottom you will see the model he's working on. If it's the one you're looking for I don't know, but at least it's worth checking out :)

V3D has announced that he is no longer making buses from OMSI on the 5th of december, so there is a very low chance this one will be released.

  • One request is quite enough. Please do not post the same request multiple times in different threads. Signed S-H
