Willkommen in der OMSI-WebDisk!
Als Gast kannst du nur Inhalte in deiner ausgewählten Sprache sehen. Registrierte Nutzer können die Sichtbarkeit anderer Sprachen in ihrem Kontrollzentrum aktivieren, weitere Infos hier.

  • i love this DLC its beautiful its fun but the lag is very annoying and ive only really experienced this kind of lag on the french maps...


    My settings arent even high and it lags every couple of seconds it takes the fun out of driving and it sucks because i really wanna drive this map more is there anything to fix or decrease the amount of lag i get from driving? everyother map is fine its just this one

  • All in all I agree with the general opinion.

    The Addon is (for payware standards) extremely beautiful but it often lags.

    I really like the include buses and the realistic way the different companies are set up. Also there are plenty of information sheets, timetables, etc included. (Even BUSE Hof Files :love:)


    Apart from the lag issues I only have three things to criticize:

    - Passengers often speak german when buying tickets

    - Only one ticket in the ticket pack

    - The MAN articulated bus seems to be heavier on the performance than other buses, while also having very weird physics. This definitly needs to be adressed.

    I'll explain the 3 points,

    -That will be soon corrected, some files haven't been inclueded
    -That's kinda realistic, in Paris region there's only one ticket you can buy onboard, the 2€ replacement ticket, the other tickets, T+ Mobilis etc... are available on ATMs on major stops and train stations.
    -Don't worry, that will be fixed we're trying to see how to correct that

  • Ich war gerade etwas erschrocken, als ich mal im Editor über die Map geflogen bin. Hatte mich schon gewundert, warum die Autos des öfteren nicht Blinken, und alles, was ich im Editor sehe, sind Invis-Splines und Ampelspline-Objekte - ich dachte zumindest Pfadobjekte gehören heute sogar auf Freeware-Maps zum Qualitätsstandard?!

    Hoffe, dass hier unbedingt noch Nachgebessert wird! - und Polygonreduzierte Objektkreuzungen würden der Performance auch nicht schaden.

    Konnte das TUV.0 Problem bei dem C2 NGT tatsächlich auf einen Bereich eingrenzen. Man hat also schon mal einen Suchansatz und wird sich ganz sicher um eine Lösung bemühen - hoffe mein Fehlerbericht hilft beim fixen. :)

  • To add to that, there is also a huge huge spam of "Texture filename xxxx.png not found in xxxx.o3d" in the logfile, for all buses with the addon. I noticed this even with version 1.0 and 1.01 of this DLC, which didn't have the supposedly missing files of 1.02. I understand that these are warnings and don't cause visible issues, however logfile writes are somewhat expensive in OMSI, and although I know this is a big job, it would be great if this could be eliminated mostly/completely over time with patches. I noticed less stutter when I added -nolog to my launch options while playing with the GPM DLC.

  • Do this warnings in the logfile appear when you spawn a new bus? Do you have the bus preview in the menu deactivated? These warnings appear with every bus when you are in the spawn menu with deactivated preview. This is not a bug of the addon but a little annoying "feature" of OMSI 2.

    Nope, I have the preview enabled in the spawn new bus dialog. The warnings appear whenever an AI bus spawns or when I spawn my bus. Friends have the same issue too.

  • I now have the following problem:


    For my vehicle spawn menu to not become an absolute mess I changed the friendlynames of the Addon buses. Now they don't work anymore and I get the "Unbekannte Bilddateierweiterung (.png)" Error.

    Any ideas what might cause this issue? All I did was change the friendlynames in the .bus files

    The logfile is full of missing png textures, but as it was discussed here earlier this seems to be normal.

    This is because the .bus files have some special characters in them, which OMSI doesn't like. You need to convert them to ANSI first. It would be good if the developers could do this. Open the .bus file in Notepad, click File > Save As, select ANSI as the text format, select "All Files (.*)" as the format option, remove .txt from the end of the filename, and then save to overwrite the file already there with the fixed ANSI version.

  • Unfortunately the fix you suggested did not help. Interestingly, even after asking a friend to send me the original bus files so that I could use the buses again, I am still getting the "Unbekannte Bilddateierweiterung (.png)" Error.

  • Moin, wie sieht es aus mit dem "Patch additionel", also den Repaints, und Mods für andere Busse? Ich habe jetzt gesehen, dass die Einträge aus der offiziellen Webseite, auf der bis dato immer "nicht verfügbar" stand, auf einmal kommentarlos entfernt wurden. Wann wird der Patch nachgereicht?

    The implementation of the additional patch is more complicated than expected. Indeed, although repaints will be included, we also wanted to increment the French IBIS system (INEO etc ...). However, we do not have the necessary authorisations from the creators to distribute modified buses.

    However, we are not giving up, we will keep you informed if there are any changes after the release of version 2 of GPM ;) !
