Abendverkehr im Thüringer Wald

Die OVR hat seitdem Wechsel zum Sommerfahrplan verstärkt in den Abendstunden Kleinbusse im Einsatz und passt sich damit dem Fahrgastaufkommen an. Ab 17:30 Uhr fahren auf einigen Kursen abends moderne Kleinbusse bis zu 18 Sitzplätze durch den Thüringer Wald. Die Dienste 102-725502 & 106-725506 werden v. Montag-Freitag gegen 17:30 Uhr abgelöst zu diesen Sprintern. Die Dienste fahren abweichend vom regulären Dienstplanzettel (beide Kurse haben Ihre Fahrten getauscht untereinander zwischenzeitlich)

die 1. Fahrt die Abends zum Kleinbusdienst wird ist der Dienst 106-725506 seine 1.Kleinbusrunde beginnt mit der Linie 735 nach Altenfeld

Als nächtes gehts für den Dienst im Sommerfahrplan weiter nach Bad Lemnitz und anschließend 50 min. Pause dort.

gegen 20:37 Uhr fährt der Dienst weiter nach Wurzbach - da mit geringen Fahrgastaufkommen zurechnen ist rentiert sich dieser Kleinbus definitiv

um 21:18 Uhr hieß es nach 10 minütiger Wendezeit zurück nach Lichtentanne - mit 2 Fahrgästen hatte ich bis Thierbach drin gehabt, danach gähnende leere

Nothing says 2004 more than the Mercedes-Benz O 307 buses of MTB Boa Viagem SA painted in CP's new green livery. The line 9372 feels great with the color, even in its local variant. The bus used here was #6082, reg. PX-77-57 (a 1984 model with matrix displays). NOTE: Pouplation numbers here are according to the 2001 Census.

A good start of this line is in Vila Franca's main station, where the line actually starts. The green bus is a fresh air from the older red-pink liveries that were on these buses.

Afonsos and São Carlos de Oguri were the following stops. A calm run, although at speeds varying from 50 km/h to 80 km/h. Still more passengers to pick up and drop off. Small locations before entering Mecha do Ribatejo, a town of 9,500 people.

Now, towards Porto Alto and beyond. The rural fields makes this section one of the most productive in terms of agriculture, making this line one of the busiest, from Mecha do Ribatejo to Porto Alto, one of the most important towns (with 10,000 people).

Now, Castanheira, with a population of 8,500 people, has a new perspective of the central area, before the line enters the main stop, where more passengers enter and leave. This is the major community served by the line 9372 before entering Salvaterra's railroad station.

Salvaterra is the main hub outside of Vila Franca and Porto Alto. It is a town of 11,000. But has also a bustling railroad station connecting the Linha do Oeste, thus an interesting point that makes passengers drop off to catch trains to points beyond Ribatejo and towards Figueira da Foz/Coimbra.

Brás do Canavial, a town of 6,500, is the next stop on this line after Salvaterra's hub and hospital. Many people have begun to leave the line 9372 between Salvaterra and Almeirim, but still some enter to access points after it, including Brás do Canavial.

Almeirim is the last section of this line, completed after 42 minutes. This is a town of 13,100 people, and has, among other things a prison, and a theatre. The early-2000s era cars make this town even bustling, as well the main square where the Teatro de Almeirim is located. The 9372 would reach the end at the Mosteiro terminus.
