    Description

LOTUS-Simulator is a driving simulator that is really something! At the beginning, the player chooses any vehicle and drives it through the city, is captured by the ultra-realistic driving behavior and the original sounds and completely forgets that the vehicle is only virtual. Once the excitement of simulator driving has taken hold, the demands increase: keeping to tight schedules, carrying special passengers, mastering the difficult traffic. But that is not all. Ambition grows with experience: Now the multiplayer is used to drive under real conditions - coordinated by radio from colleagues in the control centre, the game master puts challenges in the route, unpredictable weather, real duty rosters and long shifts. And what would it be like to recreate your own school bus route in the simulator and master student traffic for once? Didn't the buddy from the Historical Vehicles Association still have this old tram car with a crank standing around? You could breathe real life into it again in a simulator - as a museum trip or maybe in the place where it was used during his service...*

LOTUS makes dreams and ideas come true - and the best thing about it: Every good implementation finds fans and supporters who hope for an expansion or who want to push the driving simulation experience further and further. They are waiting for you!

LOTUS, that means: L for control centre, O for bus, T for tram, U for underground, S for suburban train.

    Features

    • Modular design: Buy and play only what you are interested in - rail vehicles, such as trams and trains, or road vehicles, such as buses and trolleybuses, or later on completely different modules.
    • Realism: Vehicle physics, environmental physics, graphic effects, sounds, weather, seasons and the world coordinate system are uncompromisingly realistic - this is our top priority.
    • Multiplayer: Driving different rounds with friends, greeting each other at the meeting point, guaranteeing the waiting for the connection by radio, coordinating everything yourself in the control center or following instructions from your colleague - the multiplayer of LOTUS offers all this and much more.
    • Map editor: With many tools, assistance and many a clever trick, mountains can be moved, routes planned, tracks laid and roads asphalted. Then the landscape is designed and decorated with buildings, trees, lights, bus stops, benches, fences and much more.
    • Content tool: Whether a single scenery object or an entire vehicle - the content tool is used to configure the objects extensively. From material properties to complex animations, from the design of the physics, the sound and the import and debugging of the script, the content tool accompanies and supports the addon developer.
    • Plugin interface: A discarded crank, the on-board information system with display, a driver's desk or an entire cockpit should control the simulator and receive driving information back from it? With the plugin interface this is easily possible!

*Timetables, passengers, traffic and weather are only activated during Early Access and are not immediately available!
